We stayed for 3 nights recently, bit really knowing where in Rome this was. While not in the centre of the tourist area, it is a fabulous Roman neighbourhood with some great places to eat. We could walk to the Colosseum, forum and Trastavere, there is a metro station about 10 mins away, and taxis to centre of Rome were...

Interesting hotel. For the price it was great! We paid 148 Euros for 4 nights including breakfast. Positives of this hotel for us: -It's a short walk from the train stop, and about 15 minutes walk from the main historical sites (Circo Maximo, Palantine Hill, Colosseum). -It felt very safe, you had to buzz to get in. Most likely as...

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is without restaurant and for the breakfast you need to go out of the hotel. But the voucher for a free breakfast you will get in the hotel. The breakfast is not very good. You will get only a croissant and a toast with ham and cheese a glass of...

The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The TV was a good size, however, only Italian channels. Kitchenette had fridge and microwave but had to pay extra for utensils. We had a super king bed and was very comfortable. Shower had good pressure. It was pretty good value for money as we paid €84 per night for a double room....

Clean and big rooms with wide LED TVs. Modern furniture and free wi-fi. Common areas are instead very poor to be an hotel, a very small reception lies in the stairway and breakfast is served in an unused room. Not so expensive to be in Rome, but better don't expect a stunning and unbelievable experience. I would suggest it only...

Absolutely loved this hotel.it was close to everything, amazing restaurant downstairs, lovely helpful staff that spoke English, rooms were large, beautiful and clean. Myself and husband were on one side of the building - 2 adult sons were above the street. They did say that the nightclub bar scene was lively and vibrant, early hours a little noisy, but we...

The room was exactly the same as it was described in the website, very beautiful, clean and spacius with a very nice and tasty breakfast buffet. The staff also was very helpful and polite (and they speak english as well). It is located 7 minutes from piramide station in a very beautiful neighborhood. I strongly recommend it!

Staying in Testaccio

Neighbourhood Profile
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighbourhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
