I booked this room through a deal on Wowcher and I have to say the cheap price is reflected in the run down rooms. On the whole the hotel is fine, its clean and its a good location but if you are bothered about things like cracks in the walls and the need for a new coat of paint I...

First we book this hotel as a part of a Groupon deal, than we checked the reviews, and finally we were nit scared what to expect. We are not fussy travellers, and we paid very decent money for this trip, but still you want some comfort. And it wasnt that bad. No hot or even warm water for first two...

I booked this hotel for a cheap short city break. The positives of my stay was the location and the price. The negatives were; No access to drinking water We were on the top floor which has no access to wifi. It was only accessible when we went down to reception or for breakfast No temperature control in the rooms....

We enjoyed our stay at Tre Stelle - The staff we're really great, gave us directions & let us pay the tax when we left rather than straight away. The location is brilliant, a good fully stocked shop across the road and only 20 mins walk to the main tourist bits. The room was fine for what we paid. Very...

Really pretty views of Capri and Vesuvius, We were met on arrival by family member, very accommodating, felt right at home. The hosts were happy to give us a lift to and from the town. Really warm welcome. The room was of ample size, twin beds with enough sheets and bedding. Great views, lovely room And bathroom xxx would stay...

Tre Stelle is a cheap hotel, but that's about the only thing it's got going for it. The room was bare, with an awful smell in the very dated bathroom. Breakfast consisted of some old, spongy rolls and factory-made croissants filled with some horrible creamy stuff. Staff was overall friendly.

Only good thing is the location, close to the Roma Termini, but on a very noisy street. Don't ask this hotel to book you a taxi for the airport as we asked for a white taxi, which are the registered Rome taxis, and they told us at reception that a taxi to Fumicio Airport would be EUR60 because we wanted...

The man from the reception had a bad behavior to us. When we asked him for 2 cups, he said us to come back after half hour because he was writing something. The breakfast was very poor and the breakfast room was too small for all tourists and we had to wait for other tourists until they had have their...

The worst hotel i've stayed in and i've stayed in lots. Only good thing is the location, close to the Roma Termini, but on a very noisy street. No wifi in the room, only in the hotel bar. The elevator is very small. The aircondition is there but out of order, so it's very hot. The room is not so...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
