A really great hotel. Conveniently located, clean and modern rooms, a beautiful external terrace bar and a cosy internal hotel bar, lovely breakfast room with lots of choice and catering for different dietary requirements ... so many positive things to say about this hotel but most importantly the staff were so good. We were a group of nine and the...

Nice room, good bed, good wifi, luxury. Small but very good breakfast with lots of healthy options. 7 minutes walking from the central station. Only comment, the restaurant was closed on Sunday and we planned to stay in because of heavy rain. There was a supermarket across the road so problem solved. A bit strange though, no room service on...

We enjoyed staying at this friendly and quietly located hotel. Breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, Our spotless room with comfortable bed on the fifth floor had a small balcony and modern bathroom. We would certainly return on a future visit as we thought it offered excellent value for money.

We work in Italy every year for a month and while in Rome often stay at the lovely Hotel Alpi. Not only is the staff superb, the breakfast is divine. And the breakfast room is really lovely. The rooms are great. But my favorite rooms are the ones with balconies that overlook the city. We were actually here during the...

We stayed here for a few days while we visited Rome, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the location was perfect for us since it was near a transportation hub and outside of the ZTLs. The rooms were nicely appointed and very clean, we will be staying here again!

Stayed here for five nights through a business trip. Staff both in reception and breakfast were friendly and helpful. The room had a small balcony which was nice to stand on and watch the world go by. The room was overlooking a road which was quite busy but not so it caused any particularly noise issues. The bed was large...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
