Excellent hotel, good breakfast, very clean and extremely helpful staff. Central location to Termini station did not make is nosier but and the hotel was very quiet. Room actually had a patio area. There is a roof bar but we did not make use of it February a little cold for that. Metro and bus lines very close by.

Booked this hotel as it was in close proximity to the main railway station. It is around 5mins walking distance away in a quiet side street. There are a couple of restaurants in the area which were good but not many bars. The hotel is clean and tidy and the rooms are spacious with good bathrooms. Our room had a...

The bell boy is very nice and helpful . The lady Carla on the front is very helpful. They are willing to listen to our request sincerely. Moreover I recommend their airport transfer service, it is only 50 Euros per car, safe, comfortable and at a very reasonable price, better than taxi!!!

What a fantastic hotel. The staff are very welcoming and cannot be faulted. The continental breakfast is lovely, coffee is amazing! Great location, 20 minutes walk to Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and the colosseum. Close to termini station, about a 5 minute walk. Rooms are a bit small but that is normal for Rome, they are clean and well appointed....

Hotel Alpi is a class act all the way. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the train station. From check in to check out we were treated like guests in a home rather than an impersonal hotel. Each and every staff member is polite, personalble and friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was perfect and...

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to Termini train station and many interesting areas can be reached from there on foot or by subway. Clean rooms, good wifi, excellent value for money, I would return immediately.

A really great hotel. Conveniently located, clean and modern rooms, a beautiful external terrace bar and a cosy internal hotel bar, lovely breakfast room with lots of choice and catering for different dietary requirements ... so many positive things to say about this hotel but most importantly the staff were so good. We were a group of nine and the...

Nice room, good bed, good wifi, luxury. Small but very good breakfast with lots of healthy options. 7 minutes walking from the central station. Only comment, the restaurant was closed on Sunday and we planned to stay in because of heavy rain. There was a supermarket across the road so problem solved. A bit strange though, no room service on...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
