Our stay in hotel Alpi was perfect! The room was very comfortable, spacious and its own huge terrace! Additionally the bathroom was really large, modern and newly renovated. We also liked good amount of space for the luggage and clothes which is sometimes problematic in some hotels. Staff was very professional and friendly. Communicating in english was not a problem...

We was 5day in this hotel. The room was big and clean and wunderfoll, with balcony. The breakfast had enough selection fot this 5 days. The location is just perfect if you could walk dayly 2-3km, in this case you don't need the Romapass. We won't be able to use it because it was transport strike. Personal + receptionist was very...

We had a last minute stay in Rome, and needed a place to stay near the train station. It was almost midnight, and we took a gamble - and won. This was the perfect hotel for us, about 1/2 mile from the station. The room was really nice, with a balcony view of - well, Rome. There was a huge...

Lot of food options available within walking distance from the hotel. Many family run restaurants so you can depend on the food quality. Room was...

Excellent hotel, good breakfast, very clean and extremely helpful staff. Central location to Termini station did not make is nosier but and the hotel was very quiet. Room actually had a patio area. There is a roof bar but we did not make use of it February a little cold for that. Metro and bus lines very close by.

Booked this hotel as it was in close proximity to the main railway station. It is around 5mins walking distance away in a quiet side street. There are a couple of restaurants in the area which were good but not many bars. The hotel is clean and tidy and the rooms are spacious with good bathrooms. Our room had a...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
