Really good location, you walk to a lot of the main attractions from this hotel. Lots of local bars and restaurants. Staff are helpful & friendly. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean & tidy. Would definitely recommend.

I keep trying to find ways to understand why this hotel received such great reviews on quality and service. I only provided 2 stars based on cleanliness. I arrived yesterday morning with two bags. You have to step down five stairs into the lobby. They people at reception desk just watched me stumble down the stairs- I have three bags...

Dear Guest, we are very sorry and surprised about your comment. Obviously we have high attention for all our client's needs. I'm sorry if you have had some difficult to move your luggage at the arrival, our staff members always are ready to help and maybe they couldn't have the chance to reach you promptly. Ask for a room overlooking the garden, and will have a wonderfully quiet night (the higher up your room the better). The little balcony is a real bonus. Rooms are comfortable even if not very large, the bathrooms are also nice. The entire hotel is spotless and the location, just a few minutes walks from the Spanish steps is ideal....

Dear guest, thank you for your comment about your stay at the Hotel Modigliani. I'm glad to know that you enjoyed the room and the location and overall the stay. Great hotel for our first trip to Italy. Our room was on the top floor so it was quiet. Room was very clean (and cleaned daily). Bathroom was a little small for four people but still manageable. Great location-many sights easily walkable. We also used the airport pickup service-a relief after traveling for so long and being so tired when...

I'm a fairly frequent traveler to the eternal city, but this was my first stay at the Modigliani. I knew the location would be perfect to the major sites in the city center, but I was also very pleasantly surprised at the quality and cleanliness of the rooms.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed in Rome. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every morning of our stay. Only feedback I have is there was always a strange smell in the bathroom. The hotel is within walking distance to all the main sights.Really enjoyed our stay!

Hotel Modigliani is the best little Arts boutique hotel in all of Rome. We stayed for a week and were upgraded to the top floor suite. The view made is hard to leave ! We loved our bathroom, the generous amount of couch space and of course the balcony ! The staff is always available to help with any questions...

Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. This hotel is high quality and reasonably priced. Location is bang in the middle of everything with the train line at the bottom of the street. It's very clean and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is mediocre but enough to keep you until lunch.

Everything about this hotel is perfect. It was very clean, very comfortable and the location was perfect. The staff were very kind and helpful and it was excellent value for money. The breakfasts were very good, dishes were refilled quickly and dirty dishes were cleared away very efficiently. I would certainly recommend it to my friends.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
