I really don't understand why Sandy Hostel has so many bad reviews. I booked this place for 4 nights and was really afraid of what to expect because of all that I read on the Internet, but I was positively surprised when I got to the hostel. You have to keep in mind that it's a HOSTEL (not a hotel)...

I had booked for Mia Lodge Hostel but I think this is the new Mia Lodge? Not too sure but I think it's all owned by the same person. This hostel is the best location. Really close to Termini, a metro station (which can take you anywhere for €1.50), the Colosseum and many other sights. There's also really good food...

This hotel is perfectly located, within walking distance from all the must-see in Rome. Even the Vatican museums, are only 45 minutes waling from here. Scilla was awesome, she marked all the important spots in Rome, and even some of her own preference. You have the little and romantic streets just crossing the avenue, with that italian spirit from the...

Dear all, I am an experienced traveller... been to so many European capitals..and staying in the old centre is always a headache since to find a good price is very difficult. Sandy Hostel is the one in Rome. I am blessed that managed to acquaint myself to this place and the owner Franco, who is a gentleman. It is in...

Friendliest and helpful staff. Flexible and they let you leave luggage for free. No signage outside so from the termini, walk straight by cavour. And as soon as you pass by maggiore church, start minding the building numbers . Sandy is located at the 5th floor. Pay some cents to ride the lift. Google map would help re location. Lots...

The staff was very friendly. My boyfriend and I stayed May 14-16. The room was clean and spacious. It had two twin beds and there was a full bathroom in the room plus a mini fridge. Quick note: The hostel is on the top floor of the building so just keep walking up that is the only part were we...

Maybe shower was quite strange, water temperature was reacting to surrounding water leakings therfore...

I have spent 3 nights in Sandy Hostel. I would say I was definitely satisfied with the service at Sandy. The location is perfect, rooms are clean and staff is international and friendly. All major transportation hubs (Termini A/B lines, Cavour B) are located in the vicinity of the hostel which makes it perfectly possible to catch a bus to...
