I stayed here for two weeks recently while attending a language program. While the rooms are small, they are very clean and comfortable. Being in a very old and solid building, the rooms were extremely quiet. The location was ideal for public transportation as well as walking to many sights. The staff is extremely friendly and multi-lingual.

From first entering the front door we were greeted with smiling, happy faces. The 2 guys on reception could do no more to help us advising us of how to get everywhere we wanted to go, nothing was too much trouble. The batteries needed changing in the safe and they were there immediately. Very nice guys. Breakfast was a great start to the day and the staff were always replenishing the food and cleaning, again always giving a smile and answering questions we asked. The hotel had easy access to bus stops, more or less outside the door, tickets need to be bought beforehand for buses, these are available from the newsagents just along the road. A few rough sleepers along the road but no problem it's no different to any other city. I would definitely recommend this B&B for the staff alone

I stayed in a B&B hotel in Rome Travestere. Rooms are tiny, not enough plug sockets (there was no charging point at the desk which means that you can't charge your laptop while working). Hot water can take a very long time to turn on (it took over 20 minutes a couple of times). The shower is also tiny, around 40cm deep and 70cm wide. You end up having a shower with the shower curtain stuck against your body.
As well as this, on a couple of occassions, staff couldn't speak English at the front desk, so I had to wait 30 minutes for an English speaking member of staff.
Manager was also dismissive and not very helpful.
All in all not a great experience.

Rome is like my second home. And being there for me is having to be near Trastevere cause my Roman friends life in Trastevere. Therefore the location was perfect! It was also perfect because it is so close to the station, the station that gives a direct train to Fiumicino airport.
It was great that I could enter the hotel at any time of the day, and that I could enter the room with a code and not a "real key". It didn't matter at what time I entered, the staff was always amazing, really friendly and helpful. The service online was so quick, I booked in less than 19 hours for my arrival and good mail communication for me was needed. My room was very good, but one night I could hear someone snoring, and as I am a good sleeper, it actually made me laugh so hard before falling a sleep. But I imagine that for someone else this could be a problem. Of course there is nothing that the hotel can do about this. But besides that, the room was extremely quiet.
I booked this hotel without the breakfast, purely because there was no vegan breakfast promoted on their website and I had a last minute booking. The way I have been experiencing their service gives me confidence that if I had asked they would probably have made me a great Vegan breakfast.
I will for sure return to this hotel, thank you for a great stay B&B Rome Trastevere!!

Our stay at B&B Hotel Roma Trastevere was in a spacious three-person room, as we were traveling with our toddler, and we paid for breakfast to be included. The hotel staff was helpful and kind, especially the room cleaners. Breakfast was wonderful and worth it and never too crowded. Our room was spacious and clean and the ability to cast to our television was extremely helpful with our toddler. The small fridge was big enough for our groceries and there were two larger grocery stores nearby. There was a microwave downstairs if we needed it. There were plenty of other stores and restaurants within five minutes or less, as well as public transportation access points. The location is safe and welcoming and frankly kinda fabulous. Noise was never an issue. It's a 30 to 45 minute walk to most of the sights if you don’t feel like riding the bus or tram and on lovely spring days we took advantage of that manageable distance. It was no problem, even with a stroller. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next trip to Rome. We highly recommend it.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and welcoming , the room I stayed in was pretty basic which is fine with me I don't go to spend much time in hotel , unfortunately the cleaning was a bit of a let down , bathroom had a strange smell , grouting in shower was mouldy and could do with a good clean , sheets weren't changed everyday like they are in other hotel rooms and floor needed a good clean esp in corners. There also seemed to be quite a few ants on the floor which was odd. The air con wasn't working and although December for us Brits it was very warm at night. You only got one pillow per person so sleeping wasn't easy and outside there was a very loud machinery sound which came on most morning about 1.30 am at 10 min intervals for about 3 hours so sleeping wasn't an option. Also the bed was too big for the room so you could only open the bathroom door a tiny bit and squeeze in as the door hit the bed if opened any wider. Good location and friendly staff but I think the cleanliness needs to be addressed.

The hotel is well situated near Trastevere station which allowed me easy access to the centre of Rome as well as to the education conference I was attending. The front desk staff were cheerful and helpful, which was so great given that arrived late in the evening to check in. My room was simple but clean with a large bed, plenty of charging points for electronics and a decent bathroom with a large shower. I did not sample the breakfast but from what I saw, it looked good. I would recommend this hotel for business/solo travellers that would like an option that is a little out of the centre (therefore a bit cheaper) but still with easy access to everything you need.

Everything was excellent (and the room was huge). The breakfast was really good with Greek yogurt and a choice of dried fruit that I will start making at home (also for the children). The scrambled eggs and sweet pastries made me start the work day with the right energy. the hotel staff very kind and helpful, the other customers (mostly young Italians, Spaniards and Americans) cheerful and pleasant. All perfectly furnished, spacious and modern (you wouldn't think so from the outside) with beautiful wall-to-wall graphics that tell the story of Rome and convey its charm.

This was a wonderfully clean hotel on the edge of Trastevere in Rome. While a little way out, the attractions of Rome were all within a 30 min walk (with plenty of wonderful cafes along the way).
I travelled with my husband and teenage son and the triple room was spacious and airy - with windows you can open 😀
The staff were incredibly helpful. Special mention to Lorenzo and Luliana who helped us find our bearings and gave us restaurant recommendations and tips for getting around.
The reception 'shop' was really handy and much better value for drinks than the shop next door!
Extremely easy to get to Fiumicino airport. Train from Roma Trastevere takes less than 30 mins, costs 8€ and the station is less than 5 mins walk from the hotel.
Would definitely seek out a B&B hotel in future and recommend to others

There were 3 electrical european outlets in the room I stayed, one of them with two USB ports.
It s a 5 min walk from Trastevere station
But there is a tramway from Termini station which stops in front of the hotel
No but there are a.few self-service Lavanderie near by - do a search
