As other reviewers have said, don't expect a hotel - just modern, clean, well equipped apartment rooms in a converted old Italian town house. Reception is manned 10 to 4 usually and breakfast is by voucher at one of two nearby cafes...just coffee, cake and juice. So as long as you book knowing not to expect a hotel, you'll be... More

Good bed. Decent soundproofing. We did hear some traffic noise but we were able to sleep. There are restaurants and groceries within walking distance. I would guess it's about a 20 minute walk from the train station. We took a bus back for possibly 2€ strong wifi in the rooms. A/C. Clean. Feels like a residential area. If you jumping... More

Marcus was great - we were greeted on arrival and given full info on everything we needed to know about room, facilities etc. Good list of recommendations to eat etc in room. Room very clean, modern bathroom with excellent power shower. Only bad point was Wifi connection wasn't very good, although not too much of an issue as we were... More

We enjoyed the quieter neighborhood and it was not hard to walk to the big sites. Very quiet room so easy to sleep off jet lag. Very low wattage bulbs meant the room stayed on the dark side. We were offered a driver to pick us up from the airport and bring us here and so glad we went ahead... More

Like other reviews have said this isnt a hotel but apartments on two floors of an apartment block. The room is flawless and feels really authentic not just like staying in a Premier Inn for example which feels really cool being in an actual apartment block. I felt the location was fairly good but I like walking and exploring, so... More

This place is located at a wonderful location in Rome, near the Piazza Piave. It isn't too far off from the main touristy areas of Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi, etc and is very convenient to stay here and tour Rome and the Vatican. Most of the buses we wanted were available just a hundred metres walk away from the hotel at... More

We read trip adviser and noted that the hotel was difficult to find.We however organised through the hotel a car to pick us up from the Airport at 45 Euros but worth it.We travelled back to the airport by Taxi and that cost 30 Euros. Nice base to see Rome but it's high ceilinged with very little lighting so feels... More

Although i was not much at the hotel, the service was really good! I booked it only one day in advance for a stay last year and they made it so easy! the room was small and cozy perfect for a couple. Great location as well. Thank you so much.

This hotel/B&B is located in walking distance of the major attractions. We felt good about what we covered in two days. Three would be perfect. Rome is an exciting and beautiful city. Our room was comfortable and quite and an excellent refuge from the busy streets. As others have mentioned, it is hard to find. The street it is on... More

Found this little hotel through hours on Tripadvisor. Were not disappointed. 4 couples in Rome for the 6 nations. Rooms clean and tidy, if a little hot. Bathrooms spotless. Hotel is very difficult to find but if you use the address then OK, just don't expect to see its name above the solid wooden doors. Rooms more like apartments and... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
