We had really good time in here. Antonio is very nice and helpfull, room was nice and clean. Very good location too - you can walk everywhere, city center is really not far away. If you are lazy - you can use metro nearby.

This b&b is not fancy. Nor is it spacious. As is usual in Europe. It is close to the train station. Metro Is across the street and down a block. Good restaurants a few blocks away. The manager is very helpful. I would stay there again.

We stayed at Rhome86 for two nights, Antonio, the host is super nice, friendly and nice. He waited and welcomed you when you arrived, cooked breakfast every morning, recommended nice restaurants nearby and also sightseeing spots. Highly recommended!

This hotel really seems to be a labour of love for Antonio (who I presume is the owner). Ok the rooms are a bit small but that seems to be typical for Rome. Everything else is bursting with invention, from the decor in the hallway, to the small details around the place. Best of all is the host who seems...

B & B Rhome was very easy to reach from the train station. The bedroom is small but very clean. It was very quiet and we had a good rest. The bathroom was also very clean. Breakfast was very good. Antonio will cook you eggs and bacon if that is what you like. There was pastry, yoguart and juices and...

Antonio is truly a great host! He will do the best he can the to make your trip easy and pleasant. On the morning we left, our airport shuttle did not show up. We woke him up while he was still in sleep; he quickly showed up and called us a cab. He even gave us 5 euros since the...

Very nice B&B, convienently situated close to the Termini station and the metro (15 minutes to Vatican). You can reach all major monuments by foot. Antonio was so cheerful and gave us many good tips about what to see and where to eat. Breakfast was really tasteful. Thank you for everything!

This B&B just didn't work well for us. Though the location is convenient to Termini Station and several metro stations, the neighborhood is sketchy. Night walks were taken with caution, not pleasure. Pre-arrival coordination is critical since the staff do not have a permanent desk in the small entry way/breakfast room/office. The family room was very small with just barely...

I've been to Rome six times, but this was by far my best experience. As everybody else has commented, Antonio is a great host. I don't want to be repetitive so I will only just mention the great location, the comfy and immaculate rooms, the delicious breakfast and Antonio's great hospitality. What makes this place really special is Antonio's attention...

It was a 10-minute walk to Roma Termini, and we were just looking for a place to stay the night. We checked in to a private clean bedroom, with your own private bathroom. The living room is shared, as should be expected with a B&B. Free wi fi. Good food available. A printer in case you need to print out...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
