We where there for 6 days. 3/6 to 3/11. Near to the city centre, with great sightseeing the Vatican, shopping, transportation and dining. In front of the hotel there is a 24 hrs taxi. The first two days was in the 7th floor, then we realized...More
We stayed in the premium three which had a small foldout bench. The view from our window of St. Peter's dome is as advertised, spectacular. We were able to look down at the hoards of people going and coming from the Vatican each day. The...More
Stayed just one night, our last in Italy, to do one day at the Vatican. Location was perfect. Literally right across the street from the Vatican wall on the museum side. The walk to Piazza Navona and other attractions wouldn't have been bad either, though...More

A nice, no frill apartment overlooking the St Peter Basilica. The view was really spectacular at night. The price was very reasonable, and it's very close to the Vatican entrance, as well as the Ottaviano station. Staff were also very friendly.

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
