This hotel really did make our trip that extra bit special. It is a 2 minute walk from the colosseum which is fantastic for getting a train to/from the airport. The staff are super friendly and were always happy to help by giving us maps and tips on where to go and what to do. We had a lovely little...

If you've never been to Rome before - this is a great location for you to stay and get your feet wet. Rooms are good, hotel is well run, although the furnishings are a bit tired. Breakfast was great and the morning coffee was awesome! They even have their own private wine label. Rooftop terrace was quaint and unexpected. Great...

We stayed for five nights in this little gem! This is a small hotel in a quiet street. it is in an excellent location if you are interested in visiting central Rome and its history. On checking in we were given a map with circled areas including sights and good areas to eat. Staff were just wonderful and could help...

I have just returned from Rome and had the most amazing experience. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I have booked an excursion and they called the company to confirm pick up times. Very close to the Colosseum. Brilliant location. Rooms are not massive, but they are very good value for money and clean.

We stayed here because of reviews on this site, but mainly because we were a block from the Forum and Colosseum. The hotel is an ideal location to easily get the subway to the train station. Rome is a great city! We had a great time wandering around, riding the subway; not just seeing famous art and ruins, but exploring...

We were looking for somewhere close to the major attractions with a "Local" feel and the Cavalieri delivered! Around the corner from the Colosseum and Forum and walking distance to other sites. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful, particularly Rosa! When we return to Rome we will be booking again.

Given the prices of many hotels in Rome, we booked this one as it seemed to be a good value, located in a convenient spot relative to sites and public transportation, and had positive reviews. I can say the reviews here very accurately depicted all of the above. The hotel is down a quiet street from the TI right across...

This was my second trip to Rome and my second stay at the Hotel Fori. I would go back again in a heartbeat. For exploring historical Rome, you cannot get a better location. It is situated on a side street just off the Via Fori Imperiali which is the main thoroughfare between the Colosseum and the Altare della Patria. You...

You can't beat the location of this hotel. The Colosseum, Forum and Metro station are all within a couple of blocks of this hotel. We booked their classic room which was quite small, not a real problem as we didn't spend a great deal of time in there. The bathroom was also small and the shower was extremely tiny. The...

We expected the room to be slightly small, but it was smaller than that: you more or less have just enough room to get in and out of each side of the bed, and at the end of our corridor there were three rooms tightly packed together, which made for a bit of noise at night. But we booked it...
