This B&B hotel is located just a few meters from the metro station "Vittorio Emmanuele", which makes easy and immediate the transition to the city center. It is recently renovated with all modern conveniences! The room was quite spacious and spotless. The mattress was very good! Breakfast was unrepeatable, having fresh cheeses and sausages, croissants, jams and fruits. What we...

The place is very clean, comfy and everything is new, something I can't say for most of the affordable accommodations in Rome. It is a two minute walk from the metro and also just one minute from some of the tastier food we had during our time there. Federica is an amazing hostess and always eager to help even when...

We stayed at Federica's House for 2 nights and had a very positive experience. FH is well located - close to Termini and the Colosseum and is almost immediately adjacent to a metro station. Our room was comfortable and clean and Federica was a good host. Breakfast is basic, but plentiful. Overall, excellent value!

Really well located, clean and safe place. Within walking distance from several touristic places in the city, additionally the girl in reception is really gentle and provides useful information for your stay in the city. Breakfast is well organized and with several options. Please, when staying there; make sure you use Via Merulana to go to and from Federica's home....

We were greeted by Federica, who helped us with our luggage coming and going. Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had tomatoes, breads, meats, croissants, jams jellies, eggs, and she fixed coffee and served us. We didn't go hungry. She gave us good advice about transportation options, attractions, and restaurants. She gave us much time as was needed....

This B&B serves a huge breakfast with great coffee. There is a bean to coffee machine where Federica makes your coffee to order,. There is a choice of cereals, yoghurts, pastries, rolls , ham and cheese (as much as you can eat!)which really sets you up for a days sight seeing . The rooms small but immaculate. and tidied and...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
