Felt very corporate and sterile. It had large comfy rooms but no personality. I saw “boutique “ hotel and expected something more chic. Great location but I wouldn’t go back to this place. It was on the expensive side so I was looking for more. The staff was fine but didn’t help while we struggled with large luggage. I was disappointed

Dear Elisa, Thanks for taking your time to write your feedback about your recent stay in our property. We are so sorry to hear we didn't meet fully your expectations, in particular with the luggage assistance and with your general impact with the hotel itself. We are planning to make some renovations very shortly in order to get a new personality. We look forward to welcoming you again in our hotel, showing you a major care in every detail we offer. Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast included with plenty of choice. Love the rooftop terrace. Lots of bars and food places which are very close. It takes 20 mins to walk to Trevi Fountain which is very nice, we walked everywhere from this hotel even to the Vatican.

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing amenities. There is a rooftop terrace with bar and restaurant, an outdoor patio area , a lobby seating area and bar. But by far the best part, is the employees! I was in Rome because my husband was in the nearby hospital. The employees were so helpful to me as it seemed I needed some sort of help each day, even if it was just to find a laundry service or to offer a friendly ear.

Really great, welcoming staff in a lovely hotel who looked after our family to the highest standard. Rooms were ideal for a trip with teens. Great location with most places within walking distance or using nearby public transport. Loads of nice local eateries nearby - have already recommended to friends when visiting Rome to stay here.

Great hotel. Ideal location and on a quiet street and very smart inside. Staff very helpful. A wonderful stay. There was even chilled Proseco in the room when we check in. The room was very tidy and confortable. Breakfast was great with the option of the roof top terrace.

Everything was fantastic- starting with Karina at checkin to checking out with Massimo. Both very welcoming and super friendly! Loved the hotel, the location (short walk to great restaurants and the Colesseum), the staff, the water pressure in the shower and the quiet rooms! Thank you Capo d’ Africa for 3 great nights in Rome!

The staff here is very knowledgeable and friendly - we especially appreciated Katia who was an especially helpful and jovial personality throughout our stay. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Also, the location of the hotel is fantastic - near the coliseum, the metro, and in close proximity to many great restaurants. Highly recommend!

Nice hotel, staff was pleasant. Breakfast which was included had a wide variety of choices. Easy walking distance to the Colloseum and variety of places to eat. If you are a smoker, the only accommodations are outside without and protection from rain. We were unlucky with the rain.

Excellent location close to the Collesium and public transportation. Neighborhood was friendly, safe, and there are several restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were the most welcoming of all the hotels visited during our 5 weeks touring Europe. The breakfast buffet always had a wonderful variety of very, very, tasty and fresh food and each morning as we arrived were greeted with a warm and enthusiastic 'buongiorno'!

We are very fussy travellers, so we were trying to manage our expectations when travelling to Rome, as we wanted a city centre location, but didn’t want it to be noisy. We looked at so many hotels and settled in the Capo D’Africa partly due ti the location. It was fantastic. From the warm welcome at reception, the lovely man behind the lobby bar (try the Capo D’Africa cocktail, we had 6 and they were delicious!) through to the service at the stunning roof top restaurant. They were so friendly and helpful. We were travelling as a couple with our 12 year old, and we had a triple room, with plenty of space. We overlooked the street from the third floor and it was quiet!!! I couldn’t believe it. The location is also amazing. You can walk to everything you’d want to see in Rome, but the metro is only 5 minutes away next to the colosseum. We walked to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps from this hotel and it was easy on wide pavements and zebra crossings. Yes, there are things that I would change (getting in the shower was tricky, and they could do with more plug sockets in the room) but neither of them was a problem, and we would stay here again with pleasure. Thanks for being a fantastic hotel! We will recommend you to all who ask for a great welcome in Rome.
