This hotel is nothing less than perfect! Beautifully decorated, with the nicest staff I have ever experienced in a hotel! They were so accommodating and friendly. There is a residents bar that does half price drinks during happy hour (5-10pm!) and the bar staff are lovely. Breakfast is included and is really nice! The rooms are small, but that is...

Lovely decor, nice bar / lounge, breakfast was good, The Room was small with little room to move around bed. Bathroom had little counter space for toiletries etc. although the room was lovely it would have been tough to stay more than 1 or two nights.

Hotel is lovely - very central location just a few steps from the Piazza Poppolo & within walking distance of all major sights; 10 minutes to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, 45 minutes to Vatican City and Colosseum. Hotel itself is very comfortable & pleasant. Decor is an older style but is nice. Beds very comfortable, rooms spacious enough. Breakfast...

The River Palace Hotel has a warm, friendly atmosphere with excellent staff. The hotel is clean and nicely appointed, however it was the helpfulness of the staff and their attention to detail that really made our stay. It was our wedding anniversary and on arrival at our room a complimentary bottle of red wine and a note to welcome us...

I've been meaning to post a review for ages. This is a truly wonderful hotel, with excellent accommodation, a wonderful bar and fantastic staff. We stayed in August with our two teenage daughters on our first trip to Rome. The hotel was wonderful, the rooms clean and tidy and they couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was amazing. The...

Just back from another excellent stay at the River Palace. We stay here every time we visit Rome for the 6 nations and are always greeted with a warm welcome. Our room on the third floor was spotlessly clean with a large comfy bed. The bathroom is intimate as usual by hotels in Rome but again from my picture you...

Room was small, but, had everything we needed. Brilliant location for metro and tram. Really close to the majority of tourist attraction's, ie, peoples square and trevi fountain. Staff were really friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them.

We spent 9 amazing nights last month at this wonderful boutique hotel. It doesn't look like much from the outside and it is easy to miss, but once you walk inside, you won't be disappointed. It was our first trip to Rome (and abroad!) and the staff was more than helpful with all of our questions. Everyone from the front...

We had a delightful stay at the hotel. Situated at one end of the tourist map it is perfectly located for a sight-seeing holiday. On arrival we were upgraded as the hotel wasn't that full and the room (205) was very nice. Bed very comfy. Happy hour 5 - 10 pm was perfect for a pre/post dinner rest and the...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
