Wonderful lady runs this hotel and like all hotels would prefer you book directly with her rather than on internet websites. Other comments made about this hotel are accurate but it was amazing value for a quick weekend in beautiful Rome. Everything was clean and the windows opened, if I had one suggestion it would be to get rid of...

Fantastic location, ten minutes walk from the Trevi and Pantheon but also the station. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Paid for the room via the website directly and very reasonable. Didn't spend a huge amount of time at the hotel due to exploring the city for hours, but would definitely recommend.

We stayed here back in December of 2015 and loved it. We landed late and got to the hotel late. We walked up to a large 15' door with a giant knocker on the front...like something out of the Adams Family. Walked it and had to take a flight of stairs up to the second floor where registration was. There...

The owner was the sweetest woman I had come across in my time in Italy. However, the hotel was a bit different than what I had anticipated, but it is my fault. You may show up and not think it is a hotel... since it is not on the ground floor, and you enter a SKETCHY hallway and take a...

I spent 2 nights here recently. My first ever visit to Rome. I arrived at night. The man on desk was helpful and recommended somewhere to eat. Overall the experience was very good and excellent value for money. In fact for a European Capital it was outstanding value. Wouldn't hesitate to book again if I should return to this city.

Their security system is modern and has been recently upgraded and the hotel is clean and the beds are quite comfortable. Breakfast is sufficient, the coffee is amazing! I look forward to...

Thank you for your comments which are valuable to us. However, I would like to clarify a few points Wi-Fi , as mentioned on our site is available in all public areas of the Hotel. However, many guests are able to connect to it successfully in the rooms. Much depends on the device used. Our Hotel is small and all...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
