Fantastic Stay. Jean was brilliant in allowing my Daughter to stay who lives in Rome , but was late to travel home on her own. A nice portable bed was no problem. A very warm family hotel close to all the attractions.

my husband and i stayed here for 8 nights (booked through tripadvisor/expedia) and we were really happy with our stay. the hotel was only a few minutes walk from Termini train station so it is fairly easy to find, but the front door could be easy to miss as it doesnt look like a hotel from the outside (there is...

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is basic but very clean and staff were all very friendly and helpful and we loved Antonio - who was the epitome of helpfulness. All of the staff spoke English - and they were very kind not to laugh at our attempts to speak Italian 😜 Breakfast was continental and there were...

From all the reviews we thought we'd booked a gem of a hotel. It was fine. Clean, good location but there was nothing special about it. The breakfast was very basic & our room smelt a bit musty but we were only there 2 nights so we didn't bother to say anything. It suited our needs perfectly & it certainly...

Dear Guests Thank you for your comments which is very important for us. It's a pity you didn,t speak to us whilst here with the issues you had. Your room probably had a blockage and we could have resolved it. This is normal for many hotels and Rome is an ancient city with old buildings. The breakfast as mentioned on...

Ok, well the Hotel Guiliana is rated 2 star, it's not flash and its hidden on the first floor (behind a big wooden door) in a huge building. That said, what it is is central Rome with easy access to all sights either walking or by tour bus. It is very clean, the staff are smiley and very helpful, the continental...

Small, cosy hotel, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds.Very clean, with a cute, little balcony for persistent smokers. The staff is friendly and helpful with great suggestions for restaurants and places worth visiting. The most important is the central location of the hotel. It's very close to Termini train and bus station and within walking distance from the most important sights,...

Booked directly with hotel for best rates, great location close to termini bus station and excellent directions from the hotel on how to find it. Lovely English owner very friendly and think we met the whole family nearly during our stay. Great value for money, room was pretty quiet considering its proximity to road and city centre, great base for...

This is far and away the friendliest and most welcoming place in Roma. Generous rooms, comfortable beds, great location, but above all wonderful people. Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
