We were in this lovely hotel in December 2019. The hotel came recommended by friends who have stayed here previously, and their recommendation was excellent. The hotel, although located on a very busy street, is ideally located to visit the top destination of Rome. The rooms are very clean and although not that spacious, offer plenty of room. The breakfast buffet offers a very good and plentiful selection of food. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport, about €50.00 cost. It is very easy and convenient to get to the Vatican, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum. The staff are very helpful and informative.

The Hotel Della Torre Argentina is a gem of hotel in the heart of Rome. The property is on the small side, which is perfect for those who hate crowds. The location is perfect – right near the Argentina ruins and the Panthenon and walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and Capitoline Hill. The location is halfway between the Roma Termini rail station and the Vatican, which are either a healthy walk or short cab ride. The elevator is very small and either cute or claustrophobic, depending on your point of view. Stairs are an easy option. The rooms tend to be on the smallish side, which is not an issue since we were out and about all day. Based on other comments, we opted for a room in the back to avoid hearing sirens and traffic noise in the front. The air conditioning was quiet and very effective, which was a very important issue with the temperatures hovering around 99 degrees while we were there. Breakfast buffet was very nice, with an assortment of eggs, waffles, cheese and cold cuts. With the location in central Rome, driving here requires an expensive permit and parking is scarce. We did not rent a car in Rome as transit options were plentiful .Staff was very helpful and called a taxi for us several times when we had to travel beyond walking distance. We had a very nice 4 day stay at this location while in Rome!

We had stayed at this hotel years ago and when my daughter and I were planning a trip I came across it again. I was a bit worried it wouldn't hold up after 20yrs but at the rate they were offering, I decided to give it a chance- so happy I did. Our double room was very clean and bright with a king size bed and modern bathroom. All the rooms I saw being cleaned looked similar. Our room faced the side street and was very quiet. The hotel also did daily cleaning which was nice, many hotels over the past couple of years have stopped. They seem to be renovating various parts of the hotel so not sure if some haven't been renovated. The breakfast was so varied, and I loved that they served it till 11, we are not morning people. I would def. stay here again. We have stayed at various hotels in the interim years at higher price points but this hotel is a really good value for location, serviced, and charm.

The Hotel was built in the early 1950’s. It is charming. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
Our room was large, the King bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and had a soaker tub with rain shower head and personal shower.
Sprayer.
The staff recommended walking routes to historical sights and affordable restaurants.
When we wanted to. Confirm our prepaid taxi to the airport they called the provider for us. With no one answering they suggested waiting and seeing if they showed up on time.. When the driver didn’t show they arranged transport to the airport for us.

The breakfasts were buffet style with many good choices to choose from.

I had a very bad experience here this past weekend. I had stayed once before in November 2022, so I thought rebooking was a good idea. Upon arrival, they told my party and me that they have 24/7 front desk service, but when I went out with my friends and returned to the hotel at 4 am, the door was locked. My friends and I were shocked, so we called the hotel 7 times and no one answered. Keep in mind there is quite a large homeless population in Rome, so we were a little scared being out there at that time of night. My friends and I finally pried open the door after 15 minutes. In the morning I told the front desk what had happened and they told me that they do have 24/7 front desk services, and they were "sorry whoever was supposed to be there wasn't." I will not be staying here ever again and on top of that you aren't allowed to control the temperature, you must ask the front desk if they can. The staff is nice on the surface level but when an issue arose, they did not handle it very appropriately.

We spent 4 days here. Andrea and the team were really friendly and helpful. They were happy to change one room to a more quiet one at the back, recommend restaurants, order taxis...... Breakfast was brilliant, varied, and plentiful. The honesty bar is a great idea. We enjoyed the small roof terrace where you can take your own drinks and nibbles and get good views of Rome. The location is good, very close to the Pantheon, and easy walking distance to the Colosseum, river over to Travestere, Piazza Navona etc.

I chose Della Torre Angentina hotel because it was central to any attractions that we were planning to visit. Our stay here was 3 nights. We had not visited Rome for many years, and planned to renew our previous experiences.
We were close to a stop where we could take a hop on hop off bus. Rome has many of these types of companies.
We were able to walk to many different places in one day. from our hotel. We had a an easy walk to the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain.
Hotels in Rome in general have small hotel rooms and are very expensive. Della Torre Argentina hotel I found had some larger rooms at a more affordable price. The room we had was an usual layout, but it proved to be very comfortble and included a small terrace, which was a delight to sit out on, as the weather was very warm.
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, offering recommendation of close local restaurants.

Came here on a quick honeymoon getaway but ended up being the worst decision. Beware!! When staying in the room they offered us a free bottle of wine but never mentioned that there was renovation work taking place next door. When we returned to our room it flooded through the AC this left the room uninhabital. We were then put into another room which was classed as unoperable because of the AC. We decided to leave the hotel. We were charged €187 for our last night because it was in a non refundable booking eventhough we faced all these issues and we told the hotel we would not be returning for any of our stay.

Would not recommend this place at all. The pictures on the website look good, but it's not what you get. Beware if it rains as the hotel floods.

The front desk clerk with dark black hair is also very rude and not customer orientated.

The hotel was located within foot distance from most of the attractions, the room was very cozy and comfortable, the breakfast was very tasty and with lots of various products to choose from, couldn't ask for more from the hotel. I'd also like to extend my thanks to the hotel staff: Ms Katia and her colleagues, who were very kind and helpful. We felt very welcome and safe.

The hotel felt very outdated. The room was fine. Breakfast was okay. Only big disappointments were I arrived late and there was someone checking in ahead of me, there was a problem with her booking at it took two members of staff over 20 mins to sort it out. They told me to wait on their sofa while they did, which was fine but started the stay on a frustrating note. The second was that on the day I left there was a strike so no public transport and the hotel told me that their taxi service was the best way to go. They told me the price so I asked them to book it for later that afternoon. When I came back from my day out it was not booked and there was a different person on the reception desk who said it was 3 x the price of the guy that morning. (So i just got a white one on the street). It seemed like they were trying to take extra money for themselves.
