Everything about the hotel was just OK, however the bed in the double room with one queen was hard as rocks. Now, I like stiff beds, but this felt like lying on a cardboard box. The area is okay, a little sketchy to be honest (but I guess thats expected when its a block from Roma Termini). The location is...

Luce Hotel is very convenient for travelers coming or leaving by train. it is attached to the Termini train station. It is definitively not a 4 star hotel. the room is small and very simple for a 4 star hotel. Breakfast is simple too. The staff is helpful.

Booked a room on line for one night only. The room was very small, old furniture, minimal bathroom. Breakfast was ok. Overall tipical hotel were i would not stay more than one night. Quality / price balance unconvenient and i would say definetely not a 4* star hotel.

Great value for money. Fantastic location only 5 minute walk from Termini station. Hotel has that slight olde world feel to it. Room had a bar fridge which was great. Laundromat across the street. Really good supermarket located on the lower floor of termini station, just a shame it took us 3 days to find it. If you don't mind...

clean, very small room. good wifi. very mediocre breakfast. Formally polite personnel. Only if you find it at a very good price. At the room you didn't have any place to leave your luggage. The tv was off; I din;t have time to connect it, as I was there for only one night. The area is not the best, but...

Rooms are extremely small however its perfect if you decide to use your room just to sleep and spend the day out. Excellent location. Very close to Termini Station, just 2 minutes away. Very clean and the breakfast is decent.

This hotel is a 2 star hotel with small old rooms. The only good thing you can say about the location is that is close to the train station. The location is not very appealing. The rooms are noisy. This hotel should not be rated as a 4 star hotel. There is no WiFi in the room. My advice is...

The outside its not that good looking, it looks dangerous. But nothing happened to us. It was expensive for the room we got. A B&B a block away with better rooms is cheaper. Like 20 € more. The receptionist was great. The bathroom great. Room not so great.

The hotel is above the standard of Rome hotels. Its located only at 5 minuted walking from Termini Station. The rooms are very clean, air conditioning was functional and the room was sound isolated. The staff was generally helpful and friendly. All facilities provided were functional. The minuses refer to the fact that wifi is available only at the ground...

pros - quiet location, near Central Station Termini, walking distance to city center. cons - not a 4* hotel at all, it's a joke - small rooms, extremely small shower, wifi only in lobby, horrible breakfast (unfriendly staff, no fruits or vegetables), additional 3€-per-person-and-night city tax, strange area (a lot of strange people around the place all day long, well,...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
