Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

The position of the hotel is very central and close to most of Rome's attractions. Receptionists were helpful. Room was very clean. The only thing that I found ridiculous was the breakfast. When asking for a second coffee, we were told to pay for it. Besides this, the

We had all our transport arranged through our booking of our holiday, I would suggest that you try that. There are plenty of taxis at the airport, who seemed to have fixed rates, I would confirm with them before using, or contact the hotel direct they may be able to help.

Can anyone recommend any good restaurants within easy walking distance to hotel please?
Located in the heart of Rome, Via Mario dei Fiori, "Al 34" offers a good variety of food. If you are looking for a typical Italian Restaurant this is it. Best Regards, Fabio
