There were not the free bottled water, and towels laid out as appears in their photo however the young man who checked us in was very helpful. The place has to work within the buildings limitations. Hence the minuscule bathroom which would certainly not suit some larger body shapes. See photos Our shower head was akin to a lethal "Hydra"...

Fantastically located accommodation right in the middle of the action. Only a short walk to everything. The staff were amazing and the hotel fairly easy to find. Generous rooms (ours had a balcony) and was quiet at night. Anyone wanting accommodation in Rome I would recommend this hotel.

We just come back form Rome and we staid in this B&B (two rooms). One had the Jacuzzi!!!! Extremely clean is the first impression, very kind people, extremely quiet in the room (with the closed window and A/C on) even if in Trastevere that is the night life place in Roma with noisy streets until the morning. Breakfast is in...

First of all the young staff here are great. Very helpful and efficient. I was a little disappointed at first when I saw our room as it was dark and overlooked the back of the building but we soon loved it ! The darkness of the room and the quiet of being at the back gave us the best deep...

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
