Good location, within walking distance of Colosseum and Centro Storico. Rooms were simple, modern and reasonably clean (apart from hairs on one bathroom wall). The safe needed a new battery, and despite promises we didn't get one. One had to order breakfast in advance, and got it (instant coffee etc.) delivered to the room with a loud knock at a...

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. Clean, safe, friendly and very reasonably priced. Helpful staff too. The location was perfect -- very close to all the sites and in a wonderfully quaint neighborhood. We would certainly recommend Soggiorno Comfort.

Rome hotels are expensive, and often pretty off-putting. This hotel was incredibly affordable, well-located, comfortable, perfectly clean, with a nice, friendly staff. The bed was comfy, cable TV was great (love to watch Tabitha's Salon Takeover in Italian!), mini-fridge a definite plus, Internet in the room actually worked and was fast (often a rarity in Italian hotels) and the price...

Again, trip was in november 2008, not 2011. Booked this b&b from the airport after our flight home was cancelled for 2 days! by no means the worst b&b but far from the best, guys on reception were friendly enough, rooms were basic, there was a constant smell from the bathroom which wasn't the nicest! Overall probably not a hotel...

This was our fourth visit to this place. In the past, we liked it. This time, it was unpleasant. In our first room, the A/C and refrigerator did not work, This was corrected by moving us to another room. When we checked out, "credit cards did not work." Unless these problems are corrected, I have to give a negative review...

My fiancee and I stayer here on 2 separate occasions. Once in July and the other time in August. The location was superb, nearby all the wonderful sites, cafes, restaurants, shopping and tourist venues. The price was very affordable. The room was small, yet perfect for the two of us. I loved our street view, being able to look below...

I am a budget traveler, in Rome for a funeral. I stayed over two weeks in the single room, was quite satisfied overall. The elevator entry is halfway up the first flight. Americans, be aware the "first" floor is up one in Europe. The staff all were great, housekeeping was outstanding. Very clean, also quiet, for Rome. I had plush...

I had wonderful week in Soggiorno Comfort. First of all, thanks to very friendly stuff. They were wonderful, and warm people, helped a lot to get all kind of information about the center of the Rome. The rooms are clean eaven if the interior is astetic. The main thing we were worried about was the bathroom - and it was...

I stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and 9 year old son. Check in was easy, we had no issues. We were buzzed straight in and shown straight to our room. The young boys that manned the front desk were always pleasant and very helpful. They helped us find a parking garage for our car, which was a...

First off, I would like to state that the rate and location were great. But that was about it. The continental breakfast is a bun from a wrapper. They won't serve it earlier than about 8. There is no common area for breakfast or lounging around. Internet service is available, but staff is usually on it. TV and phone in...

“We had room 6 - the farthest away - and it was very quiet. It had 2 single beds, a AC unit, small flat screen tv, private bath room and shower, and a large closet, and one window that opened. I think we also had a plug in fan. It was VERY clean and large - especially by Italy standards. but I would imagine the other rooms would be very loud so I can only recommend staying if you can get this room. I saw room 5 - which had 1 single bed - and it was a TINY room with a TV, private bath/shower, etc. that would be good for a single traveler on a budget.”

“A room towards the front gets a lot of noise from people entering. Probably one towards the back is quieter.”

“I would ask for a room a little bit away from the reception - perhaps a room facing the back. But there is little activity there at night, so this is not important.”
YakkinYeti, 17 Jun 2014 | Read review
“The two rooms we saw where exactly the same so I expect all of the rooms will be just great. We had a room on the front overlooking the street which was nice to open the window in the morning and see the world going past.”
