The Albergo Ottocento is an excellent alternative to the far pricier Hassler, which is nearer the top of the Spanish Steps but just a couple of blocks away from the Albergo Ottocento. The Albergo Ottocento is immaculately clean, with small but comfortable rooms and fairly...More

Ottocento is in a perfect location -- minutes from the Piazza Barberini, Vio Veneto, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Via Del Corso. The reception staff is either wonderfully friendly or appallingly dismal and disinterested. At over 230 euros a night, there is no excuse for a...More

Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural
storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

I don't know if they have any rooms specifically for wheelchairs. We were on the 3rd floor, there is an elevator. The elevator is European style, small. I believe there was carpeted hallways. Our room, you would be able to access easily in a wheelchair. It had a large bathroom, but no step in shower. You actually had to step high into a tub. Hope that helps.
