Nice and clean. We were here in December and we had to ask the heating directly at the reception. The cleaning service kept the window open every day so it was cold (8-10 degree) when we arrived back from the city... The breakfast was delicious and enough.

Spend here 4 nights. Reception- always someone there to help you. English is good so you don't have to worry. Breakfast- basic. 3 types of cereal, milk, orange juices, coffee, tea, water, jams, butter, chocolate spread. Sweet croissant (plain, chocolate or vanilla pudding-very tasty). Bread, toasts, ham and cheese. You have grill available , so toasts can be done nice...

Close to termini which is very convenient if you take the bus shuttle from the airport. Just walk down the street and you are at Rom Antica. Friendly staff all around the clock. Rooms are basic but you will find everything you need for your stay. Breakfast very boring, not much to look forward to. Room was noisy even though...

Competitively priced small hotel. We [2 couples] stayed for a week in late September. Room wasn't large but perfectly adequate, very clean with a comfortable double bed and bathroom and shower were fine. Rooms were cleaned every day and bedding changed twice during our stay. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. We were on the fourth floor and had no...

Nice little basic hotel, room a bit small but sufficient. Housekeeping everyday to clean the room and replace the towels, soap and shampoo. The cleanliness could be better but it was tolerable. The location is very good, 2 mins walk to termini station and you could walk to all the major attractions or talk transportation from termini (train, bus &...

Area around hotel is very vibrant. Lots of shops and restaurants. I walked all of Rome from this hotel. Staff was nice. Free breakfast. Rooms were large for Europe standards. Everything was clean. I will stay again.

Would recommend -friendly and helpful staff in an amazing location. Less than 5 mins from Termini station which was perfect for exploring Rome or nearby cities. There's also a number of bars, restaurants and sights from within walking distance of the hotel. (In fact one of the best pizzas we had was right next door) We had a large room,...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
