Very affordable! Big dorm rooms. Clean and comfortable beds. Nice, spotless bathrooms with good water pressure. Enjoyed my stay, except it was hard to sleep in the hot weather because there is no A/C. It took all night to cool the rooms down with windows...More

Upon arriving at this hostel, I was immediately taken down the road and put in another building which had a number of rooms. The room was spacious, but there were no lockers inside the room, instead they were out in the hallway, which I didn't...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Hi, we stayed in the hostel recently and while i doubt the story is true I wouldn't recommend staying there. We felt unsafe the whole time ( the premises is a different location to reception and the area was unsafe at all times, especially at night) there was no common room or kitchen and we had a bad feeling about the place. I would say dont stay anyway.
