First of all, let me say that Aldo and Marco are just wonderful guys to work with. Extremely accessible and responsive to questions and special requests. We needed an extra single bed for our toddler and also a small refrigerator for medication and they made sure we were all set. The room was so pretty, roomy, comfortable and immaculately clean... La Finestra sul Colosseo B&B was by FAR the nicest accommodations we encountered during our 12 day in Italy. The room was beautifully appointed and our breakfast was fantastic. Our hosts met us at the door when we arrived and we're more than accommodating during our entire visit. The location was perfect for us, a quick walk to the Colosseum... More

We were met on arrival by Marco who made us feel very welcome and pointed out the sights of Rome on a map and made us a cup of coffee. The room was very clean, nicely furnished and spacious as was the bathroom! The bed was extremely comfortable (nice firm mattress). Only two downsides: 1. We overslept on the final... More

Really enjoyed this place, looks exactly like the pictures. Hairdryer included, towels provided. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast is a range of pastries, yogurt and toast. Quiet stay, not too touristy. Pretty quiet road. Remember to plan your trip around the Vatican opening times especially if you're only there a weekend. Make this your priority!

I love returning to the same hotels and cities. I feel as if I am home. So it is with La Finestra sul Colosseo, a B and B in Rome near the colosseum. The B and B is beautiful, outside the throngs of people in Rome so you have a place of peace to return to. Aldo, Gioia and Marco make... More

Marco met us on arrival and was so lovely offering us refreshments whilst he showed us a map of the city , explaining all the best places to eat and see and how best to get there , he was always so helpful. Good communication from the day my daughter and I booked. Aldo was very helpful with travel arrangements. Met at the accommodation and given a map and tourist information from Marco on arrival. Really central location with very quiet, tasteful room. Loved the shower and vast bathroom! Quirky breakfast arrangement which my daughter and I found charming. Very friendly and helpful... More

The room was spotless clean and very comfortable, lightly but nicely decorated. Large bathroom with nice shower. The AC is a very strong plus too. Staff was extremely efficient and also very nice. Breakfast (nothing too wow) served in the room on a trailer. Dont hesitate to book here. It's a 5 min walk to the Coliseum / metro. Very... More

On arrival we was unsure what to expect due to the outside of this accommodation, it didn't look appealing & was uninviting. We was tempted to book somewhere else. Once in though the room was lovely, clean & functional. We knew already that the owner wasn't on site full time which didn't bother us, he did help us settle in... More
