Do not recommend this hotel. It is about 20-30 minutes away from the nice part of Rome however it is very close to the train station and bus stops that take you to and from the airport for around 10EUR / roundtrip. The rooms is very small, with very flimsy furniture. The bathroom is ok and clean. The wall are...

A pretty little hotel in a grimy part of town. Termini has fantastic transport links but is dirty, full of graffiti and smells like a public toilet. You can see why they lock the front doors at this hotel. Good coffee at breakfast but limited selection of foods. Friendly and helpful staff although I didn't like not being allowed to...

If you want an excellent Roman experience, just don't stay at the Termini station area. As in every city, the streets near the train station are shady and unpleasant. The Caracciolo Hotel is just like all the hotels in that neighborhood. It's an average one. Still it has all you need when traveling. Just bear in mind, that it is...

Warm welcome and staff hospitality made our trip to Rome even more pleasant! Room was clean and beds are comfortable. Also bathroom seems to be recently reconstructed. There is a lift, so you don't need to carry your stuff via staircase. Breakfast are simple and tasty.

Location has pros and cons. Being 5-10 minutes walk from the Termini Station is very handy for to get in and out of Rome, but the station neiborghood is not the most beatiful around. The hotel is simple but every works. It is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is fair, enough for you to start your...

5 minute walk to Termini station. I do walk fast. The area wasn't amazing which lets the hotel down. But you get what you paid for. The room was good and clean. nice place just to crash and rest with Tv, air con was a blessing and my Wifi worked fine. Room 311. The staff were polite and friendly. The...

Okay so this was a super cute, quaint hotel. Staff was awesome and helpful. Extremely clean. Awesome water pressure. Hot and cold. (You'll want cold, trust me). Wifi is just decent. Works in room but is super slow. Can't really upload anything other than a few photos at a time. So hard to get any videos to load. HORRIBLE LOCATION...

Although there were a lot of malfunctions: the shower broke off but it was easily fixed (almost immediately after we told the reception), airco didn't work (but wasn't needed either). Room was clean though looked basic. Breakfast was nice but limited (1 croissant per person). Wifi was fine.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
