We stayed in April 2017. Don't be put off by the downstairs foyer. The welcome on the first floor entrance to this boutique hotel far exceeds any we have had in 40 years of travel. Beatrice is charming and ever helpful without being intrusive (as well as the advice described by the other reviews she helped us with and printed...

Clean, comfortable rooms with all the amenities that you need for a base to stay in Rome. Walking distance for all the main attractions and eateries. Good, plentiful continental breakfast. What made our experience a cut above the usual for our five day, family stay (we occupied four rooms), was the warm, personable charm of Beatrice and her staff; welcoming,...

We stayed here in April 2017. The location was perfect for site seeing and central to all the amazing tourist spots that Rome has to offer. Beatrice, the manager, was most accommodating. There was nothing that she was not prepared to help us with and provided us with the most excellent reception whilst providing us with advice on what the...

Often marketed as a hotel, this place is really a B&B. It has a breakfast room, but no restaurant. Reception hours are limited and arrivals after 7.00 p.m. cost an additional 25 euros. There is no bar. It works well as a B&B, however. Our room (no.1) included a small kitchen, sofa and dining table and the bed was upstairs...

This B & B is to be recommended for lots of reasons. First and foremost, its location is perfect: within easy walking distance from Rome's major locations, i.e. Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Venezia, Vatican, Trastevere, etc. Then the establishment is beautifully and tastefully decorated with a touch of luxury which is in keeping with its name. Finally,...

A fantastic little place in what Can only be described as an ideal location. 10 minute Walk to everything, yet still tucked quietly away from everything. This small hotel is perfectly situated for walking tours of Rome's historic center. It is up to date, the staff is friendly and efficient, and it is not expensive. Breakfast is on the premises, a great savings of time and money. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

  • Spacious shower. Loads of space for storage under the sink.
  • Toilet and bidet are on the right as you go in the bathroom-the door on the right doesn't open.
  • Door from the room into the bathroom. And one of the closets/beside tables. One on each side.
  • Comfy bed!
