I have to say I was dreading arriving after reading some horrid reviews on here but was straight away put at ease by the welcoming receptionist (at the nearby Hotel Antica Locanda) and the clean and comfortable 1st floor room we were allocated a couple of doors down at Il Covo. Breakfast was at the Bottega del Caffe on the...

First night in Monti and looked enticing BUT Worst Lasagne I have ever eaten apart from as fast food and my partners carbonara tasted synthetic! Had indigestion afterwards as well at the shock of 7 Euros for a small glass of wine and indifferent service! Cannot recommend

We chose the caffé for breakfast because it was close to where we stayed and seemed popular. Friendly efficient service. Good coffee. Food choices were limited. The sandwiches weren't very appetising. But the orange juice was brilliant.

Lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the piazza madonna dei monti. Great service - we went back for drinks every evening we were in Rome! Great service - lovely nibbles served with our drinks 🍹🍺♥

We booked this location, having been warned that there were three steep flights of stairs to climb ... and planned our luggage accordingly. However, we had to find the "front desk" in one location (not the address given), then were brought to a ground level suite with a rear courtyard. It was perfect! A bit dark, but had a kitchenette,...

Great B&B in a really good location close to the Colosseum and a lot of great places to eat. Wifi was good in the room and there was a lovely breakfast in the nearby cafe run by the owners. Would highly recommend this place!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a bite to eat near the colosseum and we stumbled upon this place. We were starving and tired after a day travelling from Sorrento. It was also super hot, so we wanted some comfort Italian food. We both ordered the lasagna and it was absolutely delicious. The only downside was the portion size....

Over priced food and unorganized service. Antipasti arrived after the dish. Pasta portions are quite small and the taste is nothing special at all. No house wine, so you can choose from their overpriced bottles. Water bottle is a small one, not the big as in most Italian restaurants. Seems pretty much like a tourist trap.

I went here for an evening meal. The food was pretty poor ie I can make better pasta myself, but I've given the restaurant 4 stars as it's such a great spot for people to congregate and in a good area. I wouldn't recommend the food here, but I certainly recommend coming here just for drinks as my food and...

The room which we rented was a part of old building almost in the center of the city. It's about 5 min walk from Coliseum and about 20-30 min walk from Trevi fountain. Nothing special in room - only a bad, a dresser and small table. We liked it much.
