This is the second visit we have made to Rome and we were very happy to be able to stay once again at the Hotel Centro Cavour. The warm and helpful staff makes coming here a little like going home.
Recent renovations expanded the lobby to include a coffee bar where you can get a fresh cappuccino and Italian pastries. The addition of a breakfast room where you can get an Italian breakfast for €7 is a wonderful improvement.
The hotel is located one block from the Colosseum and is within walking distance of a Big Bus pickup point and the train station.
I highly recommend this lovely hotel.

A great little hotel with friendly staff in a fantastic location for all things tourist.
I visited in November with my partner. The rooms were spotless, the location 5 mins from the colosseum and forum and the staff were all super-friendly.
Would 100% stay here again.

Can’t fault this hotel, the location is perfect and well within walking distance of many of the tourist attractions. Hosts at reception are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is very reasonable if you are short on time and need something quick and tasty to set you up for the day.
Rooms are comfortable and clean, and great value for the price you pay. Would highly recommend!

We chose this hotel because of its location, easy access from the station, close to many of the sights and with the Monti district with its bars and cafes nearby.
The hotel has an old fashioned atmosphere with a quirky lift and bedrooms that have probably been the same for thirty years.
What makes this hotel so good are the people….The guys who have a smile at breakfast (which is worth having) and the charming girls on the desk but a special mention must go to Alan the young concierge. He could not have done more for us, good recommendations and an insight into the best parts of the city, not found in guide books.
Overall a great place to stay.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights in January 2020. It is about 20 minutes from Roma Termini, so you should be able to walk there unless you have too much luggage. Hotel staff was friendly, and check-in was quick and easy. We stayed in Room 604, which was clean but a bit small. The Colosseum is only five minutes away and there are lots of eateries around. You can also walk to the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the Umberto Bridge (for a nice sunset view), Castel Sant'Angelo, and even the Vatican. We never had to take a taxi, as we like to explore the city on foot. Best thing about the hotel is its location and the reasonable pricing.

The hotel is in a great location of Rome.
It is adjacent to Cavour station in Monti and is surrounded by lovely coffee shops and restaurants.
The colosseum is also within walking distance.
The staff overall were friendly and the hotel offers a 24hr reception service.
The hotel is however very basic. The 3* rating is mysterious and warrants the reception area but nothing else.
The Hotel offers guests breakfast, which is charged at 12 euros per person.
This is a continental buffet offer with options of pastries, hams and cheeses. The scrambled eggs were for example dry and had 0 flavour.
The nearby locations, offer better value for money and quality, so be mindful of this if offered breakfast.
The rooms were a little tired and they really do need a revamp to bring it up-to a more desired standard vs price paid per night.
We paid a total of ÂŁ126 per night in addition to city tax if 12 euros per night and to be honest based on the rooms deco this did not warrant rate.
Overall I would give this hotel 6/10 at best.

Visited Rome a few times now but this was our first stay at this lovely hotel. The welcoming staff couldn't do enough to make our stay special. On arrival Alan, the young man at the desk was so helpful and recommended a nice restaurant nearby for lunch which we really enjoyed. There is a bar/cafe attached to the hotel where we had delicious coffee and croissants in the morning and they also have a 7 euro buffet for those who want it. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. The hotel is centrally located and perfect for visiting the sites. This is by far the best accommodation we have had in Rome and we won't hesitate to book again on our next visit.

The hotel is just one stop away from stazione Termini (central station) and is located in the very core of Rome with all main sites nearby (Colosseo, Forum Romanum, Palatine Hill, Altar of the Fatherland and many more).
The staff is very friendly and professional and helps you with local restaurants/bars/attractions. The room was very clean and big enough for two people.
One highlight of the hotel was their employee Alan who really cares for the clients and wants them to have a good time in the hotel and in Rome.
We will definitely come back!

Great hotel in the heart of Rome. First of all the staff is amazing. Everyone we met was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Hotel had a very nice breakfast buffet but if you just need a coffee and a quick bite there is a bar near the front desk. The room was quite nice and decent size considering the size of rooms in Rome tend to be small. The room was extremely clean and smelled great. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the room and we appreciated the effort. Lots of restaurants and shops very close by. Highly recommend the hotel and would stay there again if ever back in Rome.

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from the colosseum and within walking distance of many of Rome’s main tourist attractions. Friendly helpful staff who made us feel welcome and gave advice on local area without being intrusive.
Comfortable room with much needed air con.

No, Like many European hotels, this one is "carved out" of a couple of apartment buildings in a densely constructed urban area.
can't remember the name but the pastries are amazing and it's only 1 minute away. Enjoy!
Good afternoon, we don't have pillows with feathers.
Thank you! Best regards!
