Hotel grounds were lovely, rooms were very spacious, clean and beautiful. When we landed it was in the evening and i have to say we felt a bit unwelcome by the receptionist, it actually was like we were annoying her by checking in or by asking questions and when i went up a 2nd time to get my passports back i received another unfriendly interaction. Its very close to the airport and the shuttle(€5pp) was great to have especially in the early morning just make sure you book on time because its a small bus. The breakfast was good if you just wanted something light in the morning (ceral, pastry, etc) the other meats or hot food wasnt the best.

We went for a short visit to Rome and Vatican – 3 days, 2 nights. Wanted to see everything important from a historical/cultural point of view, but anywhere you are in this part of the world there is something important…. We chose to stay in the outskirts of Rome and use the Omnia Vatican and Rome Pass for transportation inside town, as by car would have been pure madness. Very good decision! So, lodging: beautiful small hotel with all amenities including a very clean pool that was the kids’ joy every evening; very clean rooms, good service, 24-hour front desk (even though slow by American standards, but hey, it’s Italy, just drink a glass of wine and enjoy!), free Wi-Fi, very good food. Location: you have a free shuttle to the metro Station Cinecitta (1 mile away), train station Capannelle and Ciampino airport (3 miles away). We enjoyed every minute we stayed there! Strongly recommend!

We had our wedding at Hotel Piccolo Borgo on 14th of September 2019. Firstly I need to comment on the beautiful hotel. The pool was immaculate, the cleaning staff, chefs, bar staff and reception staff were amazing, everything was perfect! I stayed in a deluxe room with a jacuzzi! A jacuzzi! Very luxurious! What can I say about how this hotel managed my wedding? Amazing! the whole day went so smoothly, the food the atmosphere and especially the staff! Fabio the wedding coordinator was exceptional! Mario the owner went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect from the ceremony area to the reception rooms decoration. Table settings were perfect! This hotel never had an Irish wedding before and I really hope they enjoyed our traditions and dancing(like maniacs 😂). Finally I want to give a special thank you to everyones favourite barman Ahmed! He was so attentive, not just on the day of the wedding but for our entire stay. He looked after us as if we were his own family and I dont think the whole experience would have been as perfect if he wasn't there. Every single day he made each and every one of my wedding guests feel special in some way. Ahmed, you deserve a pay rise! I would recommend this hotel for any Irish event be it a wedding, birthday party or just to relax by the pool. I hope I haven't forgotten anyone but if I havent mentioned you know that you were a special part of our special day. ❤

Me and my family went for a week long trip to Rome and we stayed at the Hotel Piccolo Borgo. Staff was very nice and polite. Allthough the reception didn’t speak/understand english almost at all (without a few expectiones). Breakfast was very ”small” and lame and we were hoping more fresh fruits and vegetables (we know that those aren’t very ”italian style” or anything but many other countries and other hotels in Italy include them in their breakfast menu. Also the environment where the hotel was located was very rough and not childfriendly even though the hotel is exactly called familyfriend hotel. The hotel was far away from the city (what obviosely was expected if you want a pool, peace etc. There weren’t any sidewalks next to driveways and you had to walk very small line when cars were driving past very fast. Closest shop was like 3 kilometres which is pretty long way to walk on the side of the driveway. Now after that rant we get to the good things about Piccolo Borgo. The staff were very kind and polite as I already said and they knew what they were doing. Next to the pool was this traditional restaurant that had delicious food with good meal sizes. The pool area was nice and relaxing which was extremely important because there were so hot every day! Because of the bad transport connections the staff told us good hints and advices how to go from place A to place B. Points from that! The hotel area (rooms got cleaned everyday, restrooms, pool, restaurant etc.) was very clean and pleasing to be around. In conclusion we are happy that we stayed at the Hotel Piccolo Borgo and I suggest this hotel to everyone who don’t mind little bit of walking.

I came here with my mum after a city break in Rome, to catch some sun by the pool. before we headed back to the UK! Overall the stay was pretty good, there’s nothing particularly bad about the place but also nothing to rave over either. Pros- -the rooms, the swimming pool and the hotel in general were spotless! -the breakfast was lovely-there was a range of foods to suit all tastes -the free shuttle throughout the day to the metro and station is really useful. Especially since the hotel is pretty isolated. You can’t really walk around the area due to main roads without pedestrian access. Cons -The evening restaurant. The food was ok, with prices on the higher side. If we weren’t so isolated in the hotel it would be better to go elsewhere. -the customer service is average. We often felt as though we were bothering them. You can tell they deal with a lot more business customers that leave after a day rather than guests like us who are here a while! -the planes overhead are particularly loud you can’t really avoid them as we’re right below the flight path Overall it is a good place to stay after a city break in Rome if you want a day by the pool before flying home. Particularly if your going from campiano airport!
