Advantage of XX Settembre Hotel is location, close to Termini station, it is convinient to walk around most important sightseeing places as well as organize trip by train/metro to other parts of Rome. Nice breakfasts, not only continental food; also scrambled eggs, sausages chseese and ham were served. Service is definetely the weaksest point of Hotel - concentrated on their...

The hotel was perfect for our 6 night stay, great location, 2 minute walk to Termini, the same to the Republicca square with a Metro station. The breakfast supplied was as described, fresh on the morning. The shower in our room was superb, super pressure. The bed was comfortable and large. The staff at the front desk couldn't be more...

No complaints. Good location. Clean and friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended. Ideal base to explore Rome. TripAdvisor insisted on 200 words. This is ridiculous. Hotel is good. That should be enough for the TripAdvisor gods.

Clean, nice low budget hotel, Really missed a bar as there are no pubs in Rome, well maybe one or two. Lovely friendly staff, would recommend as a base. Handy for Termini station and Sightseeing bus, which is realy the best thing to do.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff are professional, helpful and the hotel is in a good location. If you like to walk most places, then Trevi Fountain is approx. 25 mins, the Colosseum 30 mins and Vatican city about 45 mins. If walking is not for you then the train/metro station is only minutes away. Our room was...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
