We stayed at the Hotel Solis over a weekend in Jan ’17. Check in was late for us, around 9.30 however the chap at the desk was accommodating and prompt in telling us all information. It’s probably easiest to do a pros and cons list: Pros: Location. VERY close to Colisseum and easy access off main road. Very friendly and...

This is a good hotel. Excellent location, clean room, very kind staff. EXCEPT wifi is terrible -- For me, this is vital. It's never possible to get a stable connection in the evening between about 8pm to 11pm. I guess that's because the hotel wifi is open, no password required. During the evening time, people dining in the near by...

We visited the Solis for a trip to Rome. The hotel was quaint and excellently located just up from the Colosseum. We were able to walk to most major sites. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made the stay memorable. We hope to come back in the future!

This hotel is very close to the Colosseum and the Forum and within easy reach of the Metro. The hotel is clean and the bed comfortable although my room could best be described as bijou! It was fine for me as I was on my own. It could have been a bit tricky with two people in the room. The...

A good hotel for the tourist sights of Rome. The Coliseum and the Forum are a few minutes walk away. Metro Station is also close by with links to Main Termini Station and the rest of Rome. Breakfast was adequate with a small selection of hot food. Bedroom was small however it was at the end of the corridor so...

The hotel is clean and tidy and has nice rooms with good facilities. Breakfast is basic continental but there's no shortage of places nearby to get food. 5 minute walk to the coliseum. 2 minute walk to metro. 15-20 minutes from most attractions. Very friendly helpful staff.

I have been to Rome several times and while I had never stayed in this area, I was quite familiar with the location. The Hotel Solis proved to be perfect for our needs: central location (within steps of both the Forum and the Colosseum), spotlessly clean rooms, friendly staff all while being close to restaurants and transportation hubs. If these...

My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Solis for a 4 day stay in Rome. The hotel was absolutely wonderful! Just a short walk to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. We arrived at Ciampino Airport and took a shuttle service to Termini Station. The Hotel was about a ten minute walk from the station. All around amazing...

My family and I visited Rome for the first time over the Thanksgiving holiday. Our room was clean and the cleaning staff. The breakfast was free, but the best thing was the hot chocolate and the cappuccino. The front desk staff was super helpful and professional. If we make it back to Rome, we will stay again!
