Although there was some confusion at check in regarding payment and the requested room type, the customer service was personable and the location was perfect. We were right next to the Coliseum and a host of wonderful restaurants. Also, breakfast was a nice touch!

This hotel is literally around the corner from the Colisseum. Our first day there we walked the short distance there and to the Forum and were already caught up in the history of the area. I have no complaints about the hotel, I thought the staff were very friendly and helpful. LOVED the lady fixing the breakfast every morning, Prego!!!!...

3 nights at this lovely hotel very close to the coliseum, the staff were very friendly and helpful especially monir on night reception and the cheerful lady who served breakfast. The room was fine for a short stay the only downfall was the lighting it wasn't very bright for trying to read at night. Plenty of reasonable restaurants nearby and a...

Small, outdated but steps from the Coliseum and many ancient sites. The room was small but clean. The breakfast was adequate consisting mainly of coffee and pastries. The place was adequate, however, they lock the door after 11 pm, and if you arrive late, they make you feel like you're at your parent's home. When we checked out we were...

We stayed here for 3 nights and glad we made this choice. The family room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with fresh towels daily. The safe was free to use. For breakfast there was a lovely choice of pastries, cold meats and cheese as well as cereal. The location was really the star of the show - a couple of...

Stayed for three nights but could have stayed longer. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially on reception. The room was slightly dated but not a problem for us. There was a variety of items for breakfast so there was plenty to choose from. The main draw is the location, just around the corner from the Colosseum and central...

We have just come back from a 2 night stay at the hotel and to be fair I cannot fault it. It is a small friendly hotel, offering clean and comfortable rooms and well located for seeing all the sights. Breakfast included a range of pastries, cakes, bread, cereals, cold meats, cheese, scrambled eggs, yogurts, fruit and friendly waitress served...

Prefect location and only a 5min walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. The room was comfortable, good value for money, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Our room faced street view and was prefect for want we wanted.

Stayed four nights at the Solis mid March 2017. Quite basic, more of a guest house than a hotel. Having said that, the place was clean, and the staff friendly. I would recommend the Solis to anyone looking for a no frills comfortable budget stay. PS Don't expect a full English...!!!
