I stayed here for one night and was very comfortable. While the hotel's address is on a rather "glum" street, once you go through the old wooden door (watch your head!), you walk down a long hallway of sorts, and then into a really pretty indoor courtyard. It is very quaint and I was pleasantly surprised! You enter into another... More

Great hotel for what you pay for, very clean and a nice looking room. The location is great as it's quite central. Highly recommended if youre trying to budget a holiday and don't want to spend too much on a hotel!

My older son, dad & I arrived on the late flight into Rome and got to hotel late. When we arrived hotel, there was no one there. We didn't quite know what to do or where we would stay, as we arranged late arrival. All of a sudden, we saw Paolo, and he came to let us in. (I could... More

Great option to stay in Rome. It's close to the Colosseum and Termini Station. Metro station is even closer. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful. Shops and gelato right next door. Recommend

I stayed there for 3 nights with my husband for a short visit to Rome, in March. We have chosen this hotel, primarily because it was very close to Termini Station and close to some interest points that we had planned to visit. The neighborhood in which it was located was a Chinese one, not very nice, what disappointed us... More

Hotel at first outside glance was dissapointing, once inside though our minds changed. Finding reception was confusing since the first thing you see is an elevator and reception is on the floor above (and no, there wasn't a sign indicating location or floor of reception) . Our room was very clean, very accommodating, an building was quiet even though it... More

The quality between the accomodation and the price was very good. It is located in a good area though it is full of Chinese and Pakistanese. The services were good, except the fact that it was written in the room that every morning you' ll have a bottle of water and a croissant for free. We received the bottle of... More

Room was clean with good bed and free working Wi-Fi (make sure to try 2 different ID/password). No breakfast only free coffee. There is small refrigerator in room with free water and soda. The hotel is a couple blocks to the train station and supermarket. Our room was facing a small courtyard - no noise from the street. Staff was... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
