Perfect location - walking distance to tour buses and most sites; staff was extremely friendly and helpful; lovely breakfast including juices, eggs, meat, cheeses, pastries, jams, coffee, tea and chocolate. I was shown several rooms from which to choose; my room was small but nicely appointed, with a window facing the street; I felt very safe traveling by myself.

My wife and I stayed for one week in Hotel Cecil while on a Pilgrimage to Rome. The Hotel proved to be very comfortable and had a very efficient and helpful staff whose mission was to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all. When we returned after an evening out the Reception Staff were most helpful in serving drinks from...

Rome is my "other" home. I'm a Sydney (Straya) gal through and through, but getting to the Eternal City once every year or two restores my soul and revives my mood and inspiration. There must be something in the water piped in through the aqueducts over the centuries! We've stayed at basically three hotels in Rome over the years, according...

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Cecil for a week. It's central location allowed us to walk to practically every main attraction in Rome - the Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, the Vatican, the Colesseum, the Pantheon etc. The hotel is very comfortable. The bathroom in particular was spacious, well lit, with great mirrors and a raindrop shower head....

Stayed in one of their impeccably furnished singles. While small, everything one could need is present, including an electric tea kettle (no coffee or tea were provided--but I always travel with my own green tea). Rooftop area is charming and the team is extraordinary. Breakfast was hearty. Would definitely stay here again, but I would pay for a larger room.

Dear guest, thank you for your kind review. We are sorry you had a small room, our hotel is ancient and historical and some rooms are very big and others aren't. We'll do our best to give you a bigger room next time you come to our hotel! Kindest regards

The location of the hotel is very good, close to subway stations Barberini and Spagna, walking distances to the shopping at spanish steps as well as trevi fountain. The staff are friendly and always there to assist with our queries, particularly Adele and the rest of the guys. One of the best experience in...
