We stayed here 3 nights. The room is in an open courtyard area where anyone could come in to the complex. The room was clean and basic. The bed wasn't so comfortable but we didn't mind as we slept anyway from walking around Rome all day. The heater didn't work but it was ok for us. Good location beside the...

-Check In and Check Out okay, the person(s) spoke english well. -Parking Parking was okay. There wasn't any space, but the person on the front desk parked in a free spot for us (note: yellow box means restricted parking, blue box means paid parking, and white box means free parking) -Breakfast starts at 8. (never got to taste it) -Room...

Stayed here for 3 nights, my room was very clean and had a small fridge which I found useful. The hotel is a very short walk to Termini station which is very handy. The only badthing I can think off is that the bed was very uncomfortable. Apart from that I would reccommend this hotel to anyone wanting an affordable...

Very kind and helpfull staff. The hotel is runned by a family, i think, and it seems like they're doing the business because they care about the guests (and want to offer them a pleasent stay in rome) and not because of money. The reception guy always gave us very good tips for our trip (like what areas we could...

The hotel is very well situated: close to the Termini station and within walking distance to the Rome historical gems. The hotel itself is quite basic but you get what you have paid for, with a little extra for goods service. The hotel staff are very friendly and informative. On arrival, the reception staff gave us a map and marked...

A good basic clean budget hotel. Room was more spacious than some I have stayed in this area of Rome. Bathroom was very tiny, but very clean. Towel and sheets were changed during our stay. The hotel staff were helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was basic (but as I expected), and the staff kept breakfast open for us even when we...

An absolute joke of a hotel. The staff charged us for a shutter handle which the cleaner made worse in front of us when she was supposed to show us the damage. They refused to listen to what we had to say and hid from us on the day of checkout so that me had to leave our keys with...

Although I cannot deny that the location was good and the price was befitting of the budget quality of the room, I would suggest that tourists avoid this hotel on the basis of my experience there. I stayed with a friend for 4 nights, and initially we were relatively satisfied. However on the third night we were ambushed by a...

Central to train station 5 min walk away. Good location for activities. Local tram / bus service outside . A bit run down but very old pension building so to be expected. Breakfast basic but edible. Staff helpful and knowledgeable heading you in the right direction etc. Central to good restaurants . We walked to all the attractions and. Parks.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
