Had a lovely traditional Italian stay in this central hotel , front desk staff were perfect hosts faultless and couldn't have been more helpful, rooms were quaint with double Juliet balcony giving you a true feel of the city. Room was spotless clean, bathroom had great size double shower, breakfast was plentiful for a days sightseeing of a beautiful city...

We stayed 4 days in this hotel. Very small ugly place. A lot of noise from outside, no aircondition, no wifi, a lot of noise from construction next building. The only nice thing was the breakfast and the location which was close to everything.

Well, there´s only a word that pops out of my mind.....LOCATION! A nice simple hotel, no luxuries included......but who cares? The perfect hotel for people who wants to explore Rome. The location is fantastic. Central Rome, steps away from Piazza di Spagna and 10 minutes walking of the Fontana di Trevi. Good enough? Of course! Me and my wife stayed...

They recently revamped the hotel unless the elevator that is very old , the strategic venue, the brend new room even if they are tiny made it up some small issues, on low seasons is a a big deal, in peak season might be expensive

Stayed here last week with my husband for 7 nights. This little hotel is bang in the center of Rome's historic center. The room was small but most important of all ,the bed had clean white sheets, and the en suite bathroom has been recently renovated , very nice and practical, nice clean white towels , changed everyday. Breakfast is...

The hotel is located on a perfect place, just a minute away from Spanish steps and very close to Piazza di Populi. It is very well connected from all sides. A perfect place to be in Rome, when location is in question. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, though very small. The manager was very polite and attentive, though...

I have stayed here on two of my trips to Rome - in 2007 and 2008. Yes, the furniture is old, but this is what you get when you book yourself into a 2 star hotel. You get what you pay for, you cannot expect the Hilton and then only pay for a 2 star hotel - you can get...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
