On a recent trip to Italy we stayed several nights at the hotel. We like it so much we stayed several night again two weeks later before catch our flight out. The hotel is very conveniently located two blocks from Stazione Termini, an easy walk to drop off bags before exploring the city. Its walking distance to the coliseum, and...

Small hotel in Rome. Walk distance from railway station (where shuttle train and shuttle bus to the airport) gives this hotel great advantage as easy to access. Good distance to main areas in Rome. Good value for money considering top European touristic city. WiFi available.

We stayed in a quadruple room with our family. For what we paid, we had a great breakfast daily, housekeeping daily, good service at the front desk and an overall pleasant stay. Note that there is office or ironing board/ iron- but this should be expected for a two star hotel. Supermarket nearby and good restaurants around the corner. Would...

The hotel was very clean and tidy, service was good and the staff were very helpful. The only issue we had was a slightly worn mattress that could have done with replacing. Ideal location as everything was within walking distance and a 2 minute walk from the train station. If I go back to Rome I will stay here again....

Stayed at this hotel for two nights. Found it to be clean and good in terms of air conditioning and wifi. It is also in a very good location. I did however find the staff, particularly in the breakfast room to be down right rude and snappy with the guests. I would not recommend it for a long stay and...

This hotel is basic but clean and very close to the main Termini station. No it doesn't have carpet in the rooms- that's common in Europe and no big deal..free wifi that worked fine. Hot showers. The breakfast is coffee and carbs and no fruit but for the price I didn't mind. It's a bit noisy but don't let that...

We stayed here for 1 night before heading to Paris. Choose here for the location and it is just 4-5 mins walk from Roma Termini! Good access to a lot of eateries and everything in the city. Rooms were basic and a bit run down, but was reasonably clean and had it's own toilet. Can't complain for the price and...

This was a great hotel very near to the station. The reception staff were happy to look after our overnight bag before and after checkin and checkout. It is a central hotel with easy walking to the main attractions, although we did get the Metro to the Vatican as we had an early slot book. The breakfast was good. The...

Firstly I have never stayed in a hotel with no carpet! It felt like staying in my old school hostel. The breakfast was very basic. Location was very convinient though, few minutes walk from Termini station and behind it has a street of halal food restaurants. But that's it. I advised people to stay at other hotels. For the price,...

Well, firstly the only positive element about the hotel is the location.just about 3 minutes walk from the station and easily accessible to the tourist attractions and to be fair the staff was warm and hospitable. And now lets get to why we would not recommend this hotel. Firstly the poor unkempt rooms . Poor hygiene...and when we talk about...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
