I booked my son and his friend into this location for a 3 day stopover in Rome before meeting us in Cinqer Terra, they said the place was fantastic with no noise, it's a small place with only a few rooms but for the price and the location and only a token of the cost compared to other central places...

First - this isn't hostel or B&B, this is private apartment in old building. You have to look at the doorbells and find the doorbell which was supposed to be for Amoroma. The location is near to Termini, but the whole neighborhood seemed to be not very safe during the night. Anyway this is stinky, dirty neighborhood, but we were OK with...

Welcomed when we arrived, given a map and helpful information where to visit and how to get around. Clean room. Basic accommodation but fine. Plenty to eat for breakfast, good variety. Easy walking distance for station, very well positioned for visit to Rome.

I would not advise anyone to book at this B&B. We had booked a room for two people for two nights. When we arrived there (before 9PM - they were supposed to have reception until midnight), there was no sign of any hotel or B&B. We looked at the doorbells and found the doorbell which was supposed to be for...

Amoroma is a well located bed & breakfast in Rome, very close to Termini and many touristic places. It is located in an old building and the good thing is that there is a lift. We stayed in clean and comfortable bedroom, that had a twin and a single bed and good wi-fi. There are two shared good bathrooms, that...

Conveniently located 10 min walk from Termini with quick access to train connections. We were welcomed by the very friendly and service-minded hostess/owner. We were however surprised to find a very small and basic equipped B&B without any common space/ facilities or sitting room and where breakfast (very basic) is served in the room (in practice: sitting on the bed)....

I was in Rome with my husband last month, in Amoroma b&b. The service was very good, the breakfast plentiful with lots of variety:milk, jam, juice ,biscuits, chocolate cereal ,croissants, ;not missing the famous italian coffee and other things.Very well furnished and very clean.I would definitely return.

It's an ok B&B. The B&B is well located near termini, the breakfast is ok and the price is good. The room is very simple and the matress awfull. The shower didn't work properly. If like us it's for a one night stay before to go home and you want to be near the train station it's fine. For more...

So you arrive in Rome, late, having told the owner you would be there at 9. No answer, either on the front buzzer or on the front door of the hotel. Luckily, we were travelling with italians who took us to a local bar and called the owner, who after 20 minutes with no answer called them back and we...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
