If you're looking for an American-style hotel, move on. The young guy running things, Andreas, was super nice and although the room was small and the hot water dicey, location was superb, 8 blocks from the Vatican and right above a metro stop.
I would love to be able to rate this place more highly but it really was the worst place we stayed in Europe. The staff were so lovely and friendly, however, the place was in desperate need of some TLC. Our room (number 1) was...More
Tomas Bed & Breakfast is a really nice place with cosey rooms. We loved the plants, the place where you can have breakfast and service from the receptionist. The moment we came, we felt at home, also the hospitality and cleanliness is great.

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
