This hostel is definately more a hotel. Reception staff are great, helping you wherever they can! The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is delivered to the room each morning- crossing, cappuccino and some OJ. The room was cleaned and tidied everyday. There wasn't anything negative about this hotel. Room had air con, TV etc. I would definately recommend this...

Fifth time in Rome. Came in from a wonderful trip in Amalfi for one night before heading to airport next day. Not looking for a super upscale hotel but was not ready for a no frills, no service hotel either. Walked into a common walkway that was the garbage alley for another hotel. Room for four was basically two cots...

Thanks much to Eva, Nicolo, and the rest of the crew for providing a great expeeince. I will get the only negative out the way first- the AC wasn't working and Rome can be a tad bit warm. It was functioning by day 2 or 3 but not at full capacity. Now clearly this happens to the best of us...

I think we had the only room not photographed for the brochures/internet. Probably was the smallest room in the building. Our balcony was half lost with the hot water system & 'stuff' BUT great location, 100-200m from Spanish steps, maybe 500m from Trevi Fountain, then easy walk to see all 'old' Rome. Just a shame that Breakfast was from 8.00am....

I travel a lot and have never experienced such quick check out! strange idea with serving breakfast in the room at 8:30 in the morning! the breakfast very poor though :-( and all a little expensive...

This was rated highly by our travel agent. In fact, I picked up one of their glossy brochures while there and had to laugh. Quoting from the brochure, "The Guest House Eva's Rooms is a first category b&b." If we had not prepaid for 4 nights, we would have left immediately. The only two staff in the place that had...

Great location. Terrible service. Lights in hallways didn't work. Fell due to poor lighting. Manager/owner yelled at us said was our fault. Booked a room with 2 twin beds. Manager argued with us saying we didn't have two beds. Finally brought extra bedding and told us to make our own beds. Said if we were unhappy we needed to leave...

This B&B has an excellent location, 2 minutes from Piazza di Spagna, the rooms and the hotel overall was very clean, and Nicola and his team were very nice with us during all our stay. I recommend this hotel to everyone looking for something not to expensive but very typical italian (good quality-price). Thank you for the service received! Elisa...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
