It is situated in an old traditional European building, but the room is nicely decorated and good size for couple and look as good or better than their website photos. The staffs, including the owner and his son (speaks very good english). For the price, excellent value. Also, wine and fruit was in the room on our late arrival, 1am....

I have been to plenty of B&Bs but this beats them all! Such care has been given to even the minimum of details in the rooms which gives you that "home from home" feeling : scattered coloured cushions on the bed, ornaments in the room, scented bathroom - I had a peek at other rooms too, there is nothing standard about the furniture,linen...

The hosts were great and the breakfast was excellent. Stayed two nights and had to leave on the second morning before breakfast and they packed a breakfast for us and put it in the room. Great setting as well. Would highly recommend. Small room and a little noisy from the courtyard, but would definitely stay there again.

In this Bed&Breakfast concept I spent with my wife long weekend to see the Roma city with all highlighted places. I was surprised with perfect services in this hotel, nice room with bottle of Proseco prepared for us and some fruits, and with excellent explanation what we would like or have to see in Roma. Just the small reservation with...

This is a family run B&B-husband, wife and three sons. The first thing that impressed me were the immediate replies to my emails before I arrived in Rome. A taxi arranged by the hotel was there to pick me up at the airport-extra charges- but oh so comforting when one is arriving alone at night in a strange country. One...

Our pleasant Amy experience started the moment we arrived and were greeted by and introduced to all the members of the family who run it. The hotel consists of a number of rooms spread about a large 19th century apartment building and housing several other hotels and private residences. Our room was small but adequate, with a balcony overlooking a...

I came to that place which a friend of mine suggested to me since I needed a very good location but it was a terrible experience. Family business, lovely welcoming clean room and bathroom, thoughtful personal touches, went the extra mile to help us with advice on visiting the sights, organised transfers, stored our luggage and generally very accommodating and helpful. Plentiful fresh breakfast. Would certainly return if in Rome.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
