My daughter and I were on a month long vacation throughout Italy and this was by far the best, most comfortable place we stayed. Alessandro treats you like family - such a nice man. Definitely will return and will recommend to anyone I know visiting Rome. Such a great location!

Fabulous!! The most comfortable bed in Italy! It was memory foam and after a long day sightseeing, it was wonderful to come back to this comfortable bed and newly renovated B&B. The bathroom and shower were great with beautiful tile. The breakfast room was very comfortable and coffee, fresh croissants, and yogurt awaited us each morning. I loved the artistic...

Perfect arrival in Italy -- Alessandro arranged pick-up service at the airport. The Green room was gorgeous and spacious enough for the 3 of us. It felt like our own apartment. The location was great for visits to the Vatican. The metro was very close. Alessandro was very helpful in giving us an orientation. The breakfasts were excellent. Loved our...

If you want to feel at Rome like at home this place is for you. Moreover, it's even better than at home as you don't have to think about household chores, but nevertheless friendly atmosphere, unique style of the rooms, Alessandro and Cinzia helping you out at any time - charm you from the first moment. The location is super...

I booked this an hour before checking in and it was a great last minute decision. Super close to Vatican City with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was quaint and super clean. I even had a private entrance which was nice. In the morning there's complimentary breakfast and the kitchen is stocked with yogurt, juices, and snacks...

I have always wanted to visit Rome and when the opportunity came along I couldn't believe how expensive some of the hotels are!! Luckily I came across this little gem tucked away, communication was superb which meant we could arrange an airport transfer which was fantastic. My husband and I were met at the door by the owner and shown...

Gli Artisti is quality from start to finish. Alessandro stayed on top of the details of our arrival and departure, what was needed in our room (extra towels and baby bed), and even ensured we had a table at the restaurant close by. (L'Isola della Pizza, with much more than just pizza, specializes in grilled meats; see that review separately!)...

We stayed in the 'Yellow' room and it found the B&B to be exactly what we were after. Location is great, 5 minutes walk to the Vatican museums and less than that to a Metro stop which takes you into all the tourist stops. Having said that we walked everywhere and found that to be the best way to experience...

Alessandro was very helpful - provided us with a map and pointed out all the tourist sights and the bus nos to get back to the hotel from different places. Room - loved the way it was decorated, very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. It also has an A/C. Breakfast was simple but enough to start off the...

We spent 3 nights in April 2014 at Gli Artisti in Rome. Alessandro and Cinzia did a great job. The atmosphere is very friendly and hospitably. The location is very good, the next metro station (Ottaviano) is just around the corner. We can recommend this Bad&Breakfast!

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
