Unlike previous reviews, we found the reception quite easily, there are sign posts everywhere directing you to the right direction. The hotel is on the 3rd floor and the lift goes to the 4th floor so expect to walk a flight of stairs and the lift is small (it's an old building) We found the room to be clean and...

Great location, clean, comfortable rooms. A bit tricky to find reception but once you do not a problem. Not particularly happy with my room assignment, one window facing the courtyard. Asked for an upgrade but never received it. All in all good place to stay in Rome.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights in April. The hotel appears to be in a building with residential apartments and 2 hotels. As you enter through the huge green door pass the elevator in front of you turn right through the courtyard go up in the second elevator to the 4th floor, you will find the reception,...

I came to Rome with my girlfriend during Christmas' holidays and stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is close to everywhere in town. it's located next to Via Del Corso, which is full of shops!!! 10' to Fontana Di Trevi or Piazza Di Spagna on foot. Very friendly staff. Our room has a wonderfull view of the city! I...

This small hotel is as so often in Rome spread over several floors and other floors belong to other hotels. We had a lot of difficulties finding the reception. Do NOT follow the signs, but turn right in the courtyard through the door under the staircase and THEN follow the signs. Rooms were just perfect in decor. Fairly much traffic...

We had trouble finding the elevator to the reception. So we waited outside the other entrace, which later turned out the be the exit from the rooms. We pressed the speaker system to the reception but no answer for 30 mimutes. Later we found the elevator to the courtyard and got to the reception. The guy at the desk acted...

Loved this hotel! Very friendly staff. Very quaint and comfortable! The rooms are tiny but that's Europe. This is very well located and can walk everywhere...shopping, attractions and restaurants. Loved it is give it a 5 star if there was an elevator that went to level of the hotel.

Dear Guest Thank you so much for your review. It's important for us to know that our staff was friendly and your stay confortable. I had a fantastic time staying at this perfectly located hotel. A short walk from the Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, Piazza Navone and The Spanish Steps. The room in the hotel was awesome, it was on the top floor and it had a double balcony so I could clearly see the Vittorio Emanuele Monument from one side and Parliament Square...

The hotel is situated in an excellent location! It is all within the walking distance to places like Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Piazza Nanova, Capitoline Hill, and most importantly Via Condotti where all the fancy shoppings are! We took a "taxi" from the train station, and it took less than 10 min to get to the hotel, but...

It is in a very convenient location. But the bed was absolutely dreadful. As hard as a rock. Noisy. Reception was friendly, but not very informative. We were told that the only way to the port was by taxi. Very clean. But can't get past the hard hard mattress

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
