Hotel Floridia, housed in an elegant late 19th century building, is a delightful hotel situated in a characteristic Roman street, an ideal base for sightseeing and tours around the centre of Rome. This 3 star hotel is an elegant and quiet hotel, offering its guests every comfort and attention to detail, plus the functionality of its communal areas and rooms. In the hall of the hotel, the majestic crystal chandelier and old-fashioned staircase denote the classic style and the fine taste of the hotel’s furnishings. The small lounge next to the hall provides guests with comfortable sofas and automatic drink and snack dispensers. The hotel is located strategically, just 5 minutes’ walk from Roma Termini railway station and 500 metres from Piazza della Repubblica. Hotel Floridia is perfect for all those looking for a hotel in the centre of Rome, comfortable, welcoming and practical.
The room didn't look anything like in the photos, the room we got assigned was on on the 5th floor, where outside the window we had was a device that made noise until around 10 pm, the beds were not good, one of them was a portative bed which made the person who slept there unsafe and could not feel comfortable. It has terrible lightning, the staff was good and welcoming, the breakfast was okay, but it included mostly sweets.

We did a cheap trip to Rome, and this hotel was close to the train station and has breakfast included. The room was oke for the price. The breakfast wasn't that good but for the price it was oke. Just bread and some spreads. The receptionist was very nice and the room was clean. For a city trip for just sleeping it was oke. Don't expect to much.

We had a great time in rome. Although we were not in the room for more than 10 hours a day, when we were back, the room was clean. The staff was cleaning the room every day. We stayed for 5 nights! The room was big enough for two persons and for the price that we paid. The hotel may needs a renovation, but its good enough for sleep. The staff at the reception was really nice. When we arrived they informed us that we had taxes to pay for each night. We had a great time and we recommend it, if you don't want to spend the day inside and you want to explore Rome, because it was near every monument and near by the termini station (only 5 minutes walking). Thank you!

The room was so small two people couldn't walk around. The bathroom was dirty. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast. The first night we were kept awake all night by the room next door arguing and the hotel didn't do anything. The second night we were kept awake by 50 school kids making a real noise. Don't stay here if you want any sleep or comfort.

Aceptable The Hotel is basic, dated but clean. The bedrooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels. The staff were generally happy to help. Be aware that some bedrooms do not have windows. The coffee machine was broken in reception for 2 days and the fridge in the room did not work. We asked for it to be replaced which a man came and said he would return but never did. Strangely there was no shower curtain in the bath. Go to the hotel with with average expectations and you will not be disappointed. Close to the terminni, metro and buses, most attractions are 20 mins plus walk away which gives you lots time look around. Lots of very reasonable priced restaurants near by away from the main tourist areas. Dispite comments I did not find food expensesive in Rome. Cheaper than the uk coffee pizzas and pasta with superb sandwiches in the local patisseries. …

We found this hotel when the accommodation we booked let us down. The receptionist was extremely helpful and she apologised for the only room left being small. It was a good size for us, very clean, good location, good breakfast, staff were always polite and helpful.

Floridia Hotel is near Termini station (and I would say that is the best location to stay in Rome) which is a big plus! With a nice staff, good breakfast, nice rooms and great wifi signal is a place that I would take into consideration for my next visit :)

Nice comfortable hotel. Location is very good. Room was clean, equipped with everything except tooth brush. But you could buy it in reception. Ladies on reception was very helpful. Ready to explain you all what you need, nearby places, routes and etc. Breakfast is pretty standard, enough to start you walking day. Most probably will stay next time during Roma visit.

the purity was only 4 stars because of the hard water in the bathroom leaving limescale on the taps otherwise the hotel has great facilities. the staff is very kind (concierge, cleaning, breakfast bar)
