Residenza Vaticana is a clean, comfortable, well-run B&B. Located on a nice street (near an amazing Gelato place-- Gelateria dei Gracchi), it's easy walking distance to Vatican City. The rooms are large, especially by European standards, with fairly comfortable beds. The bathroom (en suite) was also nice and clean. Like most Italian hotels under 5 stars, the shower was a...

I chose this hotel as I have stayed here before in 2008 and had a lovely stay, but was a bit disappointed this time round. The room was tiny and had no cupboard so we lived out of our suitcase on the floor for 3 days and the tiniest bathroom could have been cleaner. Although both ladies were very helpful...

This teenie little B&B is in a great spot in Rome- about 10 minutes walk to the nearest metro station, although we didn't use it to get about.and chose to walk. 10-15 minutes walk to the Vatican too. We were given a map on arrival and told where to visit and how long it'd take to walk. Yes it's small...

Stayed for 2 nights. The B&B is in a great location really, easy to walk to St Paul's and within walking distance of Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain etc (as long as you don't mind walking). I think there was a metro station fairly close but we didn't need it as we are both very...

Clean, comfortable room to come back to after a long day visiting the sites. Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Vatican, shops and many restaurants. Steps away from public transportation. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was great - loved the cappuccino! Highly recommend!

Stayed with my family at this wonderful B&B for four nights. Good location in the city and standard like a common 3 star hotel in Rome, but to a better price. Proper cleaning and good service from the owner. Only minus would be that the breakfast could have some more to offer.

After a long search for the perfect hotel in Rome, I really found the best one. Clean rooms, nice staff (I asked for a larger room and they were kind enough to give it to me), good and fresh cold breakfast just enough so you get your day started. The room was very quiet and I'm sure that all are....

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
