Lovely, clean, airy room. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly prepared. Though fresh coffee would have been much nicer. Friendly and professional staff, especially the night desk staff. Immaculate building with a superb roof top terrace which is great for a sundowner!

This hotel is an absolute disgrace. The staff are so rude and dismissive. We booked triple room and when we got there had to ask for third bed and they refused to remove arm chair from room. We had no space at all. When we asked for bigger room they had none, so why take booking for triple room then....

We booked the hotel via Booking.com. The location is very good. Near to main station and surrounding has many cafe and shops. Very convenient. Next to the hotel is a Theatre. When were we there, there was a concert on going and therefore for 3 nights, we got free opera music... while others may find it noisy.. our family truly...

In general not that bad but disappointing because my room did not have a window. Old furniture. I had to work off the bed. Staff courteous. Typical continental breakfast they have courteous mobile phones I don't use but as a tourist they might be helpful And is a good idea

Clean, proper and good value. Great breakfast. The room I got was tiny but I didnt bother. The AC was kind of weak and in the summertime this might be an issue - but for me no problem as I was there in early may. Good wifi in all areas. The hotell i well situated close to Termini.

An all round excellent Hotel. The hotel is perfectly positioned within easy walking distance of most of the must see attractions (Trevi, Coliseum, Spanish Steps etc) and close to public transport links for any others farther away. Charming and very helpful staff. We had a well appointed room with a view of the opera house and magnificent breakfast, what more...

This hotel is located in a perfect location; close to republic square, Terminini train station, close to metro, bus, restaurants and shops...a perfect location, indeed. Apart from that considering the rate of rooms it's an average hotel. The quality of breakfast and Wi-Fi service were below my expectations.

This hotel was very functional but nothing special. The rooftop garden didn't have spectacular views and was filled with smokers. The staff did not seem especially caring but completed their jobs as needed. Breakfast was adequate but could have used a bit more variety. Location was nice between two metro stops and bus areas but was not close to many...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
