Great boutique hotel in a great location -near Termini station but not the bad area! Staff were friendly with perfect English - happily printed tickets for me and provided directions etc. My window looked out onto gorgeous Opera House - opera's every night! Rooftop views are amazing!

We wanted a place near the station for our two night stay and found an incredible offer at this hotel. It's a very old style hotel but tastefully decorated. Our room was small and old style but fine for our short stay. The street it's on isn't the nicest as its quite dirty but you walk just about walk everywhere...

Nice hotel ideally located a few blocks from the Termini Station. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and free breakfast. Also, the price is very good for Rome's city centre. Would not give it five stars because the room was a bit noisy, you can hear everything through the thin walls. But on the whole it's a great option, I would definitely...

This was a good place to stay for the price. I shared a room with a friend and they were able to make sure that we had two beds in the room. The staff was friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was ok for what it was. I would stay again.

My stay consisted of four nights in a standard single room, including buffet breakfast. I was travelling with five other family members, all with separate rooms. I first stayed at this hotel in May 2008. I got the opportunity to return in October 2016. After all these years the hotel has retained its rustic charm, not much has changed. As...

Lovely hotel, decorated beautifully. Right in the centre of 'Termini' which is like the Kings Cross of Rome. Loads of bars & restraunts a couple of streets from us. There is a rooftop with loads of comfy seats & tables on the fifth floor of the hotel which was really nice - we took some cans & blankets up there...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
