Once we got our bearings very close to train station and metro stop, staff very helpful with directions and providing adaptors when mine failed to work. Breakfast acceptable nothing special but for price paid very acceptable. Close to sights and transport and local supermarket.

To be met at 2 in the morning by Alessandro at the upstairs window was a real plus after a 90 min delayed flight and a taxi from the airport we were nervous about finding the place _ shouldn't have. A splendid room for family of four and delightful breakfast arrangement. Plenty of helpful advice a real home from home...

Clean and Tidy Twin Room, (Stayed 4 Nights) Friendly Welcome and Helpful with Suggestions for Resturants, Supermarket etc.(Supplied Map and Directions) Close to Metro and Train Station. Personally I would have liked my towels changed every day as due to temperature of Rome (25°+) though the pamplet in room did read every third day.

Just returned from my second stay at this B&B. Allesandro makes booking so easy. I did it this time using his own web site, much easier and confirmation emails gave me peace of mind. Again Allesandro and his mother go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Even offering to take my stepdaughter to the...

Momi is close to Termini station, 15 minutes walking slowly and near subway station. Alecsandro was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 4 people room that had enough space to everybody. Breakfast is simple but OK.

Great hotel, Momi and Alessandro where the best hosts. The breakfast could be better to our opinion but it was nice that you could eat it at any time without restriction. The location is a bit far from the Colosseum and the Vatican but you can easily get there by metro, the B&B is close to the Train Station. the...

Disregard the panic attack you will 100% get when entering this neighborhood. The graffiti and trash are nothing to be intimidated by. The owners of this b & b are incredibly sweet and accommodating. They offer a homey atmosphere, clean rooms, hot showers, the BEST coffee and orange juice, basic bread and croissants for breakfast, and any help their guests...

We stayed at Momi B&B during our last leg in Rome. We chose this place as it was near the train station (about 10mins walk) but we didn't know it was in "Chinatown". It was also quite far from the attractions and the nearest attraction was about 20-25 mins walk away. Nonetheless, we enjoyed staying here because Alessandro and his...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
