My family and I (Husband, myself, 21 year old and 18 year old) stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions on the same trip. The first time was for 2 days at the start of our vacation (June 20-21). After the long flight from JFK we were anxious to get to the hotel and get a shower. Check in...

Good hotel within walking distance of the Vatican with a rooftop terrace overlooking the dome of St. Peter's. Very nice reservation agent, front desk staff, attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and patient with email reservations and questions. Will arrange car pickup from FCO to hotel and return, tour tickets, dinner reservations/recommendations, etc. Very good value in a very expensive city, includes breakfast.

Location of the hotel is very good, close to Vatican and to city center. There wasn't an elevator and the rooms were old furnished. It is expensive for its amenities. Breakfast was quite good but nothing concerning room's price.

Bad service. Don't care about guests. Miniature showers. Unedible breakfast. AC not working. Phone not working. Basically, try to get something else. Old and not well taken care of. Far from city life but close to Vatican.

I've been put into the San Pietro Hotel to see the swearing-in of the new Swiss Guards on 6 May 2009. The hotel is located pretty close to the Vatican (within walking distance). The rooms, though, are pretty old, the bathroom is tiny and the closet was falling apart. All in all, though, I must say it served its purpose....

I arrived late passed midnight on a Thursday night and was attended by Carlos at the front desk who was very accomodating in helping me with the bags to my room. The level of hospitality displayed at this hotel took me by surprise, even at that hour of the night. The room was very small, but fairly decent with a...

The hotel was small, clean with excellent friendly staff. All of them! And the best part of it is that the hotel is conveniently located just a stone's throw (5 minutes walk) to the Vatican. And about 2 minutes walk to San Pietro Train Station. And with 2 busstops close by, hat more could you ask for?

I spent ten days in this hotel this month. Hotel rooms and baths were clean and comfortable. Rooms were shielded from street noise by double doors to the balcony. The location is close to St. Peters, but also close to an excellent restaurant and a cafe. There is also a daily local street market which the Romans use about a...

Great location!!!! Hotel is very close to the Vatican City 5 minutes walking), Chaffour Express Super Market (Exiting to the left, just a couple feet walking), and is in front of the bus stop. They do not have an elevator, but a lady of the hotel brought our luggage to our room. The same happened when we left the hotel....

I hate to admit, but I'm and AC snob. My husband booked this hotel for us and my requirement was AC and clean. This hotel claims to have AC. When we checked in the hotel was hot and stuffy. The person behind the counter was sweaty and fanning himself. He told us most of Europe, trys to conserve and turn...

“As the hotel is located on the street behind the Vatican, it is generally quiet as the evening passes, hence noise is not going to be a factor at all. However, subject to availability, one could request for a room in the front, which allows one to catch a glimpse of St Peters' Basilica illuminated at night.”
