So my wife and i are back from a trip to Rome and a 5 day/night stay at La Mongolfiera.
We could not have had a better experience than we had at this quant little hotel/pensione.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early August and loved it because of the location (2 minutes from Piazza Navone), the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendly staff. Air-con was so welcome after a few hours walking around Rome, great shower with complimentary...More
The B&B is placed in an old building 2-minute walking from Piazza Navona, which by itself means that the positioning is very strategic. It surely means that night life around the hotel is effervescent, Although it can be heard from the 4th floor, everything goes...More

With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
