The hotel is a special structure based on an old monastery. Car parking huge and free. Reception ok with staff polite and friendly. Room was comfortable and quite big. Restaurant ok but nothing special. Breakfast should improve, there was no buffet...
After my wife ended up in hospital while on holiday I moved to this hotel for it's close proximity. Very friendly staff, very helpful & provided wheelchair when my wife came out of hospital. Had a lovely "conservatory" area which was a comfortable place to relax and walk around. Meals all very good, breakfasts fantastic.
I stayed in this hotel with my friend on vacation, and immediately after walking through the gate at the entrance of the hotel we were creeped out. The building from the inside looks like a hospital ward, and it was nearly a five minute walk to get to our room because of the extremely long hallways. They lost our reservation, and when we fixed it, they gave us the wrong type of bed (queen instead of twins), with no blanket, only sheets. They had a complimentary breakfast, but when we arrived at 9:30, most things were closed, and the food all tasted really strange. My friend and I were scared to eat much because we were worried about getting sick. Also, this hotel is a 45+ minute commute from the city of Rome, so if you are looking to explore the city, this hotel makes it very inconvenient to do so. Thankfully, they let us cancel our reservation for the second night and refunded our money (but only after talking to multiple receptionists, as the first wouldn’t allow us to have our money back).…
The hotel is located in a really peaceful part of Rome. Not close to the center but there is a metro station nearby. The quality of the rooms and breakfast were quite good. It also has a huge parking area.
I spend 11 days at the Hotel Villa Eur in January 2019 with my daughter. Really peaceful place and the staff was so welcoming. Great food at the restaurant and the breakfast in the morning was always a treat. Good value for money
