I found the gentelmen at the reception a little slow on asking and taking information. The rooms are large but needs up dating, and needs a better cleaning system especially dust on TV and carpets needs to be refreshed. It fine for a one night stay near station of Tiburtina. If you book, choose top floor so you dont have...

Revisited because of location close to the Olympic stadium and the Foro italico for the tennis. The bathrooms appeared to have been updated but our toilet had a badly cracked and broken seat.. Which was replaced the next day, also only half a toilet roll so we pinched a couple from the store cupboard! The taxi we arranged did not...

Room very spacious but dated, kitchenette very limited in equipment, was described as having a microwave, failed to see it, kitchen ware almost non existent, plenty of cups and saucers but no kettle, had to boil water on electric ring which took about 15-20 mins. Bed very hard, woke up every am with aches and pains, again described bathrobes as...

Some say the location is a bit isolated, but I must addmit it didnt bother me at all. I even kind of liked it since the hotel is very close to the real roman living place: whice means you can easly travle all day to tourists destinations by using the tran and buses outside the hotel, but once you get...

We got there at 9 AM- our check in time was a few hours later- and were prepared to leave our luggage and hang out in the city until check in. They checked us in early, for no additional charge. So that in itself was much appreciated to a family of 4 with 2 young kids. I booked this place...

Used this place when going to the tennis Internationale in Rome. It has huge rooms which are more like a large flat with kitchen sitting/dining room and bedroom area which could easily accommodate 4 people. Furnished in the minimalist style but quite acceptable and clean and reasonably well equipped. However there is little personal service or character to the place...

Can't recommend. Located far north of the city, nothing of interest close by. To say the rooms are dated is kind. They may not have been updated and there are signs or wear everywhere. The breakfast was carried in to the dining area in grocery bags and was pre-packaged food. I have made 11 trips to Europe and was the...

Stayed for three nights and chose this hotel because it was near to the Foro Italico, just an easy 10 minute walk from the Rome Tennis Open. Very large modern room with sitting area, dining table, separate kitchen and bathroom. All very clean, but maybe bathroom and kitchen need to be updated. No breakfast area but bars nearby to have...

Everything met my expectations! I stayed one night and on the first floor. We had a huge apartment, with aseparate kitchen and a huge living area which was practically divided into two separate areas, one a bedroom with a double bed and the other side of the wall, a living room. We had two televisions, but no time to watch...

My husband and I stayed at Residence Sacconi for 3 nights in mid June. The hotel and mostly the room has many pros but unfortunately there is one drawback - if someone would consider it as a drawback. Firstly, the hotel is situated in a VERY convinient area not far from the centre of Rome but at the same time...

Staying in Flaminio

Neighbourhood Profile
Flaminio
The Flaminio area has been making a name for itself as a hub for contemporary architecture and art. Over the past decade, Flamino’s grassy knolls have seen the rise of cultural centres - amazing feats of architecture like the beautiful Ponte della Musica, the wavy contemporary art MAXXI Museum, and the futuristic Parco della Musica, a music complex where international names perform. Flaminio also has traces of the 1960 Olympic Games with Palazzetto dello Sport and Villagio Olimpico, the athlete’s Olympic village turned residential housing. If culture means a ball and a foot, keep your eye on the prize: Rome’s famed Stadio Olimpico football stadium is just a short walk across a bridge.
