A very clean hotel, in a great location, the historical center is in walking distance, very polite and friendly personnel (mostly Jerry), very good and fresh breakfast with omelette, bacon, sausages, fresh orange juice, croissants with chocolate etc., the free transfer was an additional advantage, we had complementary coffee whenever we wanted, nice and renovated rooms with an amazing bathroom...

We were originally booked in with BelleSuite the sister hotel of this one. When we arrived there we found out the hotel was closed for reservations, things could of got really uncomfortable but Daniel was most empathetic of the situation and our travel company not passing on the message. We were taken to I Giardini and we absolutely loved it....

Small hotel, bit noisy, but ever so friendly staff which makes up for all of it. Free airport transfer is grant, with the acknowledgeable Paolo. Fresh towels every day. Breakfast is small but very sufficient. Even when trying to run of at 6:30am for a tour through the Vatican we were stopped by the breakfast staff which insisted on us...

This is a small bed-and-breakfast centrally located in Rome, but in a quiet side street with little noise. One of our rooms was very spacey and the other a bit smaller. The staff was friendly and the service very good. They served a complimentary breakfast with a good variety of food, including fresh fruit and press-your-own orange juice. If you...

We have been traveling as a group of 7 adults(parents and grown-up "kids"). We ahve booked this location because of the proximity to many touristic objectives in Rome. The rooms are clean and well equiped, the breakfast is very good and the hosts are just great! The rooms are quiet and located in a very safe area. We have used...

We visited Rome at the beginning of August and loved our stay here. Very cordial, polite and extremely helpful caretaker, Mr. Jerry. He goes out of his way to help you out. We found this to be in a great location for tourists visiting Rome. The rooms were very clean and all amenities working to perfection. They have a decent...

This bed and breakfast is in a good location and within walking distance to all the main attractions - in a safe neighborhood. The bedrooms were small but comfortable, with working air conditioning, clean towels and hot shower. Breakfast was really good, simple, fresh but yummy. I would stay here again if visiting Rome.

We were collected at Fiumicino by the shuttle service and driven directly to this B&B. The location is outstanding. The manager was most accommodating, assisting with our early arrival and early departure two days later. The room was functional, although the bed was a little tired, and the breakfast quite adequate. A quiet, safe neighbourhood but very convenient. Great value...

Me and my wife stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The only plus point of this hotel is the central location. Apart from that it is a catastrophe. The walls of the rooms are so thin that you can actually hear people in the corridor or in their rooms. The reception doesn't work all day or night. It is...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
